Recently I have been receiving more updates than usual. Looking at
logs I find multiple examples like this one:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=openc…
where build-compare detects "different number of subpackages" and
gives a list that seems to suggest the old -debug* packages aren't
counted. Is the OBS failing to copy them to "/.build.oldpackages" or
is the build-compare script failing to count them?

Hi,
sorry if this is not the right place to ask, but there does not seem to be a list for the science repository on obs.
Currently, coot does not build on oS 11.3 because of a GtkGLExt bug. The bug has already been fixed, but one would have to build against 11.3:Update to use the fix. Would it be a problem to change the config accordingly?
Thanks,
A.

Hi,
in order to do the final switch of the underlying storage for the backend server
(an increase from 4.8T to 8T storage) there will be a (hopefully) short downtime
for the OBS.
At the moment, the server will still react, but the schedulers, dispatcher and publisher are
off and a sync is running (the sync before had just completed, so the delta should already
be quite small).
If this run is done, OBS will go down in maintenance mode, repserver will be shutdown and
the webservice will give out a downtime message and the old storate will be remounted readonly
for one final and hopefully quick sync before we switch to the new filesystem.
I will report back when everything is complete.

Hi,
Is there something wrong with build.o.o?
I can't retrieve build logs, and all my builds are failing right away.

I get the following error in all my OBS builds. The builds succeed, but does the error matter? What can be done to fix it?
Warning: mkbaselibs missing in build root, skipping baselibs

Hi, I just had libsndfile sr #49949 declined by factory due to changes
not being in strict chronological order. I think this slipped past the
osc source validator because there is libsndfile.changes and
libsndfile-progs.changes in the same package and I copied the one to the
other, meanwhile libsndfile-progs.changes had an additional entry when
the linked package was split off. It would be good if the source
validator had picked this up.
Thanks

Hi, all!
I'm trying to configure my OBS to cross compile packages for SH4
architecture (someone knows me from the IRC channel), to configure my
OBS I'm using an unofficial Debian SH4 port[1] and a prjconf file from
build.opensuse.org debian 5.0 project[2].
But when OBS tries to create build environment, it fails showing the
following error http://pastie.org/1200336
It seems a dependency problem or something similar, but I have no idea
about how to fix it. Can anyone help me?

Hi,
I remember that way back I used to get Email notifications if the build of one of the packages I maintain was broken. Am I remembering wrong? At least it seems I am now not getting any such notifications, as when I did my last routine check around the Build Service I found that two of the packages I build were broken for factory, without me getting notified.
At least I think this would be a really useful feature, especially while there is no monitor page displaying all involved packages. I also feared I accidentally switched it of, but even googling didn't turn up anything on the topic.
Regards,
Matthias

An "osc ls -b home:RedDwarf -r openSUSE_11.3 -a x86_64" returns things like:
opensc.rpm
opensc-debuginfo.rpm
opensc-debugsource.rpm
opensc-devel.rpm
But I deleted the "opensc" package in my home repo long ago. Since it
doesn't exists anymore I can't use osc wipebinaries. What can I do?
And why weren't them deleted automatically when I deleted the package?

Hi,
I'm trying to create a source service to make my life easier (don't
think it would benefit anyone else), but I'm unsure of how to go about
that.
I know it's a bash script...
Are there any special variables or anything that I should be aware of?
