I have two questions:
1.) I've been able to figure out add-on ISO images that are based on
SUSE distros; however I also need similar ISO images for non-SUSE distros
such as CentOS, etc.
I figured before I dug in too deeply, I'd ask the list if templates for
making add-on ISO images for non-SUSE distros exist already.
2.) I've noticed for the ISO .product files, there is an entry:
mediastyle="suse-11.2"
Where is the mediastyle defined and/or documented?

Hi,
the README.UPDATERS file mentions /srv/www/obs/api/files/distributions.xml as
default target definition.
That would mean I could change this to our own internal targets when people
create an own build based on our own internal repos, which would be very
helpful.
Unfortunately nothing changes when I change this file.
I already restarted lighthttp and obsapidelayed and did wait for half an hour.
Or is this page
http://obs.exampl.de/project/add_target_simple?project=test
not generated from this template?

All,
I have just discovered that Pyrex, the python bindings generator, puts
the following header at the top of its generated c files:
/* /Generated by Pyrex/ 0.9.8.5 on Thu Jan 21 14:10:44 2010 */
which seems to be generating uneccessary build-compare differences esp.
in debugsource packages.
Is the correct action to modify pyrex, or build-compare?

Tejas

OBS 1.7.7 and OBS 2.0.7 are fixing security issues
==================================================
The new versions of OBS 1.7 and 2.0 are fixing a security issue,
tracked as CVE-2010-3782, which allowed users independent of
their state to work via the api. The api is blocking now
all users, who are not in state "confirmed".
The user creation is also now dis-allowed, if LDAP or iChain
athentification mode is used.
In addition OBS 2.0.7 is fixing an issue when branching package sources
via project links.
Packages and appliances are available in openSUSE:Tools:2.0 and
openSUSE:Tools:1.7 projects:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools:/2.0/http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools:/1.7/
openSUSE:Tools project will get the 2.1 release tomorrow, which is fixing this
issue also.

Hi all,
The upgrade of MySQL is making all my OBS requests time out... Something wrong?

Hi,
In instances like when you import a source RPM to the build service,
the source service is used.
But I don't see it building :-\ Will it build or will I have to do it
with manual labor? ;)

Hi all,
this patch allows to change the order of repository paths directly in the
project configuration. Currently, this is only possible via editing the raw
config. As the screenie shows, some (hopefully self-explaining) icons where
added (deliberately stolen from the bento icon theme, which deliberately stole
it elsewhere :-). Writing tests for the controller parts remains to be done
though.
As I'm fairly new to the intricacies of webui, this may not be the most ruby-
esque way of doing it. Therefore I'd like to get some comments on it before
committing.

Hello!
I have created a package which automatically checks out it's sources using svn. It creates a tar-ball.
I have two questions:
* When the revision number changes, I guess, the file-name changes, too; is there a way to automatically detect the current number?
* RPMLINT tells me "Files bigger than 100k should be bzip2'ed in order to save space."; is there a way to compress the tar automatically?
Best regards,

Hi, all!
I'm trying to configure an own RPM repository to use download on
demand, but I don't know how to do it, because into the OBS wiki[1]
there is only an example to use debian repository.
My repository is a classic repomd, like the Fedora repository.
Can anyone help me?
Regards.

Hi,
now, that BS is running like a charm since days, is it to be expected,
that there are plenty idle instances (I counted 30 ATM for x86), while
there are about 14000 packages queued up, waiting to build?
I'm starring at the build monitor of my projects, and since yesterday
morning, there where probably about 15 jobs done, much more then 150
jobs left, and I'm actively withhold any additional activity..
Patience is a trait of character,
Pete
