Martin Mohring: - prepared bunch of Base:build packages for ARM bootstrap: they will be build on arm and i586 - support for Jan-Simon to bring up maemo.org SDK into OBS @ arm - setup wiki http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/PoweredBy - opened #opensuse-arm IRC channel - checked in the backend changes for configurable log/run dir - fixed the signd logging - packaged and tested openSUSE:Tools:Devel/obs-all-svn @ up to svn trunk -r 6203 - packaged and tested openSUSE:Tools:Devel/qemu-svn @ svn trunk -r 6489 rlihm: - Keep working on Web 2.0 - Improved css mouse sprites via one grafic to reduce multiple requests to one. - Created voting widget, currently used in openFATE and will be used also in webclient as replacement for the 5 stars voting in current interface. jcborn: - working on FOSDEM talk and documentation. poeml: - Cared mainly about mirror problems. - Working on new Factory update mechanism, this will allow us to keep old packages for a longer time to allow running installation to finish - We have still problems which are only solvable via client fallback mechanism adrian: - Build result comparization support implemented. Will be actived soon for Factory, detailed announcement will follow. - Handled some urgent fixing in imaging area. [opensuse-buildservice] disable debug_package for local builds

Hi, I'm trying to find the error, why building on obs ist failing. Therefor I do local builds. But on local builds the %debug_package are build. How to disable creating debug_packages on local builds ? Hi build failed because: Updating etc/sysconfig/nagios... Job seems to be stuck here, killed. project "home:rhomann:nagiosQL" is there something I can do to fix it ? Hello, i commited 3 Packages in openSUSE:Factory:Contrib and one in KDE:KDE4:Community. But only the three Packages from Contrib are visible in my OpenSUSE BuildService List "My Projects". The KDE:Community Package are not visible. Hi all, since some time I used to build the hylafax+ package for openSUSE. Just for the 11.1 release I get the error message after all compiles went OK: Quote: .. running 01-check-debuginfo ... testing for empty debuginfo packages ... running 02-check-gcc-output ... testing for serious compiler warnings (using /usr/lib/build/checks-data/check_gcc_output) (using //.build.log) ... running 03-check-binary-kernel-log ... running 04-check-filelist ... checking filelist hylafax: "/etc/sysconfig/hylafax" is not allowed anymore in SuSE Linux. [opensuse-buildservice] Call for Contribution: RPMLint Site

Hi Folks, I’m an new Packager in OpenSUSE BuildService, and i like this work. But if i would like to package for Factory, RPMLINT gives me any Errors or warnings. But these things to fix, are very difficult. Our Wiki Side for RPMLINT doesn’t contain many Error or Warningcodes. From my side, i can say, that it's not good to make rpmlint as standard in OBS, and we have not enough dokumentation :-( But yesterday i’ve found an Side, with other Errorcodes from RPMLINT. Today i imported these Codes to our Wikiside http://en.opensuse.org/Packaging/RpmLint. I think it is not possible to list all codes on the Side. But i wish, that the side includes more Codes in the future. No i would like to make an Call for contribution. If every Packager insert the codes, that he knows, we have an good library soon. And on this Moment i would like to make an request about helping- Thank you all for the hard Work. Hi Axel, although I don't use hylafax, I hope I corrected the source-code in the right manner. Please see under home:hauky/hylafax for the patch and the edited spec-file. Once you copied that stuff over, I will delete this package again. I have send this patch already to hylafax.org (creating my umpteenth project-account) http://bugs.hylafax.org/show_bug.cgi?id=902 But now, since the deadly error is gone, tons of warnings await you...
