Hi, I am seeing this error in home:kfreitag:Kraft:Beta when compiling for Ubuntu: running debian transformer... dpkg-source: warning: extracting unsigned source package (/usr/src/packages/SOURCES.DEB/kraft_0.32_beta1.dsc) Undefined subroutine &Dpkg::Version::_g called at /usr/share/perl5/Dpkg/Version.pm line 204. Any idea what is wrong? [opensuse-buildservice] [PATCH] improve kiwi system image building in Build Service

Please find attached two patches, that improve the kiwi system image building in the Build Service. The first patch adds code to build to create a tar.bz2 from the kiwi results, the second patch adds support to bs_publish to also publish the results. [opensuse-buildservice] Question about automatic delete

Hello Mates, i've written an Script, that copies the Files from my home:saigkill to openSUSE:Factory:Contrib %Paketname (in my local working copy). So i can make changes in my home Repo and the Results are copied to the right Place in my osc Folder. So i can go to the Contrib Folders and can make an checkin. Problem: Some of my Packages has %debug_package in the Specfile. If i make an commit to Contrib, he gives me an error. All Packages in Contrib has per default enabled the %debug_package Macro. So is needed to delete the Macro by copying to local Contrib. Is it possible to make this change in my Script? Is it possible to make osc ci after Copying automaticly? Have an nice Day. [opensuse-buildservice] rename a package (microdia)

Hello, what is the way, to initial a rename and update a package ? in buildservice the package microdia (webcam) is renamed by the author to sn9c20x ? [opensuse-buildservice] Different build behaviour for Factory

Hello, A significant change, how we build openSUSE:Factory and all repos building against it have just made effective. This change has the effect that we will not publish packages anymore when they have effective not changed. So it should be way more comfortable to follow up Factory. The same message, a bit more verbose can be found here: http://news.opensuse.org/2009/02/05/more-efficient-factory-development/ However, this is new stuff, so we might have introduced new problems, even though we hope to have implemented this on the save side. But early in the Alpha phase of 11.2 is a good point of time to test this :) We may activate this compare check also in 11.1 and before builds later, but lets first look how good it works for factory :) Some more detailed information for our build service experts: You can see a code="unchanged" in the repository build history when a successfull build produced an unchanged result. Note, this is not "buildhist" of the package like you get with "osc buildhist". You can only request this with curl -n http://api../build/$project/$repo/$arch/_jobhistory so far. The script, which is doing the compare is inside the "build-compare" package. Changes which happens in source rpms only are ignored for now. In this way nothing new gets published when you add distro specific changes (like adding %if %suse_version > 1110) Enforcing to publish a new build can be done by "wipebinaries". I use openSuSE myself, and I've happily built the package concerned for openSuSE and Fedora. I was just trying to make some Ubuntu packages for the guy who wrote the product as a convenience for other users, and to try to contribute something back to a project that I use. [opensuse-buildservice] How to stop all builds on local obs?

Hi, since I had to restore a crashed machine running obs, I now imported the old database dump and all formerly build projects. Now obs rebuilds the complete old projects even though I disabled them all. As I only have one single machine, I fear, that this will take some weeks... :-( Every project has this build section within it's prj metadata: <build> <disable/> </build> What am I missing in order to disable all existent builds? -- With best regards, Carsten Hoeger

[opensuse-buildservice] Stuck build

Hi. It looks like I've got a stuck build. Project devel:playground:fastboot, package kernel-default. It's been in the "building" or "finished" states (varies?) for about a day now. It looks like there's a successful build log there now, but during the build phase earlier in the day there wasn't one. I was advised to ask this list.
