LO 7.2.2 - Presentation mode

Hi, I want to do a presentation with LO 7.2 using a Laptop with TW/KDE and an external monitor 'Normally' the presentation was on the external monitor, and the Laptop showed the presenter mode with notes pages etc. Now I have presentation and presenter page on the external monitor - and no way to get the presenter page back to the laptop screen. CRTL-4 was not working. Any ideas? Thanks Axel

How to install Ant without installing jdk-11?

I already have Oracle jdk-17 installed, so I don't need a back-level version. When I try to install Ant, zypper insists on installing jdk-11 stuff plus other odds and ends. Using --no-recommends doesn't help. I suppose I can let it add all this cruft, then remove it all afterward, but why isn't there a way to do this? some other way of overriding zypper's insistence on a package that is not needed or desired. ● zypper in --no-recommends -D ant Loading repository data... XFCE: How to screenshot if mouse is hovering over a sub-menu?

Hello, I would need to take a picture of the screen also when I hover the mouse onto an application menu (focusing), but so far I haven't been able to do it due the fact that whenever hovering the mouse on some other points of the screen, the screenshot shortcuts disables and screenshot is not obtained. #KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS xfce4-screenshooter -f -------> STAMP xfce4-screenshooter -w-------> ALT+STAMP In Microsoft Windows their "Snippet application" works as you wish, without any limitations of this kind and I wonder to find a similar solution. Two Issues in OpenSUSE-15.3 Installation

Hi, When installing OpenSUSE-15.3 from a USB disk on an MBR disk, the bootloader step of the installer fails. This results in an unbootable disk and it is necessary to do grub-install with the option --target=i386-pc later. Unlike OpenSUSE-15.3, this worked well in OpenSUSE-15.2. Also, even if online repositories are disabled, in final steps of the installation, zypper tries to update the list of packages from online repositories, resulting in error messages and some delay if there is no internet connection. 'find' find enless loop in btrfs file system

Hi, Doing a "find /", find reports ¨Oneindige lus in bestandssysteem: ‘/.snapshots/1/snapshot’ is onderdeel van dezelfde bestandssysteemlus als ‘/’." Translated to English: "Endless loop in file system: ‘/.snapshots/1/snapshot’is part of same file system as ‘/’." Is it something I should worry about? I'm on TW, the root filesystem is btrfs, the home partition ext4. The system has 5 6TB disks, in a raid6 array. regards, Jogchum

Leap 15.3: Policies/rules for update repositories?

Hello all, Leap 15.3 has 4 update repositories instead of 2 like Leap 15.2 and previous versions: - repo-backports-update (new as of 15.3) - repo-sle-update (new as of 15.3) - repo-update - repo-update-non-oss I roughly understand the purpose of the above repos (see e.g. https://doc.opensuse.org/release-notes/x86_64/openSUSE/Leap/15.3/#installat…). But I'd like to know more about the policies/rules which apply to these repos. Questions that come to mind: - Is the repository really required to get security fixes? - Does the repository contain explicit security fixes? (I.e. are only security fixes applied to existing versions or will new versions from upstream be made available?) - Are version numbers (mostly/somewhat/...) kept stable? - Does the repository provide patches for zypper or complete RPMs only? Is there any document/description that answers these types of questions? I guess for *repo-backports-update* the policy is more or less that you ship what you (can) get from upstream. *repo-sle-update* and *repo-update* seem to contain security fixes and patch definitions (just looked briefly). How about *repo-backports-update*? Previously (e.g. with 15.2) the policy seemed to result in rather stable version numbers, i.e. few updates where minor (or even major) version numbers changed. This seems to be different for 15.3, particularly when looking at backports-update. But that's all guesswork and I couldn't find anything documentation for that. And if so, would there be security updates for e.g. ruby2.5-rubygem-i18n-0_6 or ruby2.5-rubygem-i18n-1.1? And where would they be published? Explanations/insights/hints are much appreciated. Firefox 92

Hi Does anyone have any issues using Firefox? I'm not sure when this happened as i haven't used it for a while. I can no longer right click for a menu, paste anything into the address field, restore the menus.
