Hi all, am currently preparing packages for the LLDAP ldap server and utilities. I prepared them in a branch project derived from network:ldap. For some reason, almost all builds for 15.5 and 15.6 are unresolvable. > nothing provides libldap-data = 2.4.46-150600.23.21 needed by libldap-2_4-2, (got version 2.6.8-lp156.3.3) Funny thing is, nothing in the package explicitely pulls in libldap-2_4-2. The only package that builds is the lldap-cli, which is just a bash script, built with "noarch". > https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/home:ojkastl_buildservice:Branch… I noticed the same errors in network:ldap for some packages. > https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/network:ldap?defaults=0&unresolv… I tried to find out if something in some prjconf forces the installation of libldap-2_4-2, but did not find anything. Could it be that this package is automatically installed on every (non-noarch) build? But why are there some packages in network:ldap that build fine? Can anyone explain why this happens? I would really like to understand what goes wrong there. And how I could find out myself the next time I stumble upon such an error... And, for a bonus, how the hell can we get rid of this error properly? I currently tried this: > %if "%_repository" == "15.5" > Ignore: libldap-2_4-2 > %endif Kind Regards, Johannes

Building a vagrant box for Leap Micro 5.5. / 6.1 on OBS: No support for vagrant disk format: No module named 'kiwi.storage.subformat.vagrant'

Hi all, I recently sent a SR to add a vagrant box for the Leap Micro 6.0 images. Now I was asked if the same would be possible for 5.5 and the upcoming 6.1. > https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:ojkastl_buildservice:branches:… > https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:ojkastl_buildservice:branches:… But both fail due to a missing kiwi component (at least that is how I read this). > [ 181s] [ INFO ]: 18:42:44 | Creating vagrant Disk Format > [ 181s] [ ERROR ]: 18:42:44 | KiwiDiskFormatSetupError: No support for vagrant disk format: No module named 'kiwi.storage.subformat.vagrant' I dug throuh the prjconf of the 6.0 project, but could not find anything in this regard. What needs to be added to which project to get this working? I am surprised that 6.0 seems to have this, but 5.5 as well as 6.1 seem to not have it... Thanks in advance! Puzzled, Johannes

open-vm-tools fails to find a working C compiler on Leap 15.5, but builds fine on SLES 15SP5?

Hi all, I prepared an update for open-vm-tools last week, checked the SR today and found something strange. My update as well as the older version in Virtualization:VMware are building fine for SLES15 SP5, but fail for Leap 15.5. It also fails for SLES15 SP4. Product ISO from a DOD / External repo

Hi List, Could you please help me understand if it's possible to build a Product ISO by consuming the RPMs from an external DOD repo in Build Service? We can currently build RPMs with DOD, but I'm specifically inquiring about building a product ISO. Presently, we are building with the content available locally in our instance.
