how to emulate aarch64/ppc64le with qemu on private instance?

Hi, I'm trying to build aarch64 and ppc64le packages on a private instance. I have configured the project configuration like openSUSE:Factory:RISCV (as Andreas mentioned in another thread). I've copied the configuration to home:cschneemann:armtest on build.opensuse.org and I can see the same error in the buildlog as on my instance. ### [ 8s] setting hostarch to aarch64 [ 8s] using io_uring on x86_64 [ 9s] booting kvm... Trigger scheduled package rebuild automatically possible ?

Hi, In my home repo, I have a package that is build from git source, using a service. I'd like to have it rebuilt automatically server-side every few days. The equivalent of 'osc rebuild --all` but triggered server-side at a given schedule. Is it possible and if so how ?

download_url and 404: Not Found

I have added <obs_url>https://MYSERVER</obs_url> and <download_url>https://MYSERVER/repos</download_url> to my on-prem OBS config. "osc repourls" returns https://MYSERVER/repos/MYPROJECT/SLES_15_SP3/MYPROJECT.repo, but when I click on "Go to download repository" link, then I get "404: Not Found". On my server I can find the /srv/obs/repos/MYPROJECT/SLES_15_SP3/MYPROJECT.repo file. Please advise.

Hi, on CentOS-8 I get nothing provides perl(LWP::Simple) needed by <xyz> I tried to `Ignore:` that in my prjconfig but Ignore: xyz:perl(LWP::Simple) has no effect. Any ideas? How to request for mirror rsync adjustments?

Hi everyone, Since a few days I am experiencing issues using mirrors for the build service. As you can see from the official mirror status page: https://mirror.opensuse.org/ Multiple mirrors for Build Service are in stale status, especially in Europe where I live. My personal Arch repository in my nearest mirror: https://ftp.lysator.liu.se/pub/opensuse/repositories/home:/ItachiSan:/archl… is outdated since May 22nd. My main question is where I should report this syncing issues, at OpenSUSE level or to every mirror? I do not believe we are supposed to nag to every mirror service, while I can do to my nearest one if needed. / Giovanni

Hi There's a winexe in RHEL 9 (and thus AlmaLinux 9) already, in case you might have missed it: samba-winexe. Would that help for whatever you need winexe for? Indeed. Thanks for the hint. I will use this version for it. Regards Mathias

Ignore file conflicts

Hi, I am trying to build a winexe package for AlmaLinux9. However I have file conflicts file /usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/lib/libzoneoc.a from install of mingw64-crt-10.0.0-2.1.el9.noarch conflicts with file from package mingw64-runtime-9.0.0-5.5.noarch When I set mingw64-crt to the Ignore List in project conf, another file conflict appears up to direct dependend packages. Is there a way to ignore such file conflicts? Well after updating mingw64-runtime to the latest version. The version has changed but the error is still the same. file /usr/x86_64-w64-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/lib/txtmode.o from install of mingw64-crt-10.0.0-2.1.el9.noarch conflicts with file from package mingw64-runtime-10.0.0-1.1.noarch Any suggestions how to bypass this? Regards Mathias Well I guess the better option is not to mix mingw 9.x with mingw 10.x. Yeah, you are right. Seems like the update came about a week ago. Will update outdated packages. Thanks

Hello, for 15.4 I get a lot of packages (e.g. python packages) which fail with error: File must begin with "/": !!_%1_not_installed_!!/* E.g.: https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/home:dstoecker/createrepo… https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/Application:Geo/python-ba… ... How to configure build failure notification mails in self-hosted OBS

Hi all, I'm interested in how to enable failed build notification emails in a self-hosted OBS installation. I tried RTFM but couldn't find anything about this topic in the administration guide at https://openbuildservice.org/help/manuals/obs-admin-guide/ Do I have to run a local MTA on the OBS master itself? Or can I somehow configure a SMTP host (+ credentials for authenticated SMTP) ? Thanks in advance. Might be worth adding a sentence about this to the manual, too.
