[opensuse-buildservice] Is there a way to not execute pkg-diff.sh when package build in OBS ?

For Leap15.2 ppc64le the ghc package build failed as timed out while pkg-diff.sh executed in one of generated rpm (1) Is there a configuration option to not execute pkg-diff.sh ? [opensuse-buildservice] Branched package contains both sources and _link after "baserev update..."

Hi all, I had branched a package, made some changes to it and submitted them. Now that the changes have been accepted my package has been updated, and now contains both _link and source files when "unexpanding" my working copy. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:ojkastl_buildservice:fingerpri… So basically a "osc up -u" and "osc up -e " only create or remove the _link file, while everything else stays in place. Am I missing something or is this not what normally happens on branched/linked packages? [opensuse-buildservice] DoD: ignore specific versions of a package

Hi, we are currently experiencing a problem with a mirror that contains two versions of a single package: git-core-doc-2.14.5-1 git-core-doc-2.17.2-2 but only git-core-2.17.2-2 and thus, obs complains: nothing provides git-core-doc = 2.17.2-2 needed by git since that seems to confuse dodup; it doesn't download any version of git-core-doc. [opensuse-buildservice] Building 32 bit package in x86_64 on the OBS

I'm still trying to build 32 bit Wine packages for Fedora 31 on the OBS. The Fedora 31 repository at http://ftp.fau.de/fedora/linux/releases/31/Everything/x86_64/os/Packages/ has all the i686 packages needed to build 32 bit Wine, but I have not been able to get the OBS to use them. I even tried manually downloading the packages and building locally, but the build fails with [ 10s] checking whether gcc -m32 works... no [ 10s] configure: error: Cannot build a 32-bit program, you need to install 32-bit development libraries. The 32 bit libraries were definitely in /var/tmp/osbuild-packagecache/Fedora:31/standard/x86_64. Hi, as a followup to https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-buildservice/2019-11/msg00075.html The config at https://build.opensuse.org/projects/CentOS:CentOS-8/prjconf still has FileProvides: /usr/bin/gdb-add-index gdb-minimal whereas for CentOS I this package doesn't exist; it should be gdb or gdb-headless. [opensuse-buildservice] New "osc build" features

Hi, our unstable versions of osc and build script have some new options where I would like to gather some more experiences. 1) osc shell [--vm-type=VM] [REPOSITORY ARCH] creates or jumps into the build environment. This works independend of the used VM mode, so using it with image based VMs like KVM should become WAY more handy now. The old "osc chroot" is obsoleted by this, but basically doing the same as "osc shell" for chroot. 2) Building for foreign architectures using qemu system emulator. osc is offering now to use any hardware architecture. (Thanks a lot Guillaume for the initial implementation of that code!). For example osc build --vm-type=qemu openSUSE_Factory_ARM aarch64 will build for aarch64 on your x86_64 workstation for example. But it should work for any architecture. The downside (compared to our former qemu user land emulation) is that it works way slower due to emulation overhead and it works currently only in projects where a kernel-obs-build is defined. But it should allow everybody to build at least for openSUSE and SUSE SLE armv7l, aarch64, ppc*, s390*, riscv64 and so on architectures. 3) osc wipe for easy cleanup of your build environment. I am still improving documentation and will blog about it after we released official updates. For now you need to use osc build packages from OBS:Server:Unstable project to test it. A minor source change triggered an OBS hosted re-build and both Fedora 29 and Fedora 30 now report unresolvable for armv7l builds. Fedora 29 have choice for libcapstone.so.3 needed by qemu-common: capstone python2-capstone python3-capstone Fedora 30 have choice for libcapstone.so.4 needed by qemu-common: capstone python2-capstone python3-capstone Something changed? [opensuse-buildservice] Fedora 31 and Raspbian 10 armv7l builds fail

Both these fail with similar messages:- [ 32s] ### VM INTERACTION END ### [ 32s] No buildstatus set, either the base system is broken (kernel/initrd/udev/glibc/bash/perl) [ 32s] or the build host has a kernel or hardware problem... gave up after 9 failed build attempts...
