Hi,
I have an unresolvable build on xUbuntu_18.04 in the project https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:fispro:SNAPSHOT/fispro
the message is: 'have choice for libcomerr2 >= 1.34 needed by libgssapi-krb5-2: libcom-err2 libcomerr2, have choice for libcomerr2 >= 1.34 needed by libkrb5-3: libcom-err2 libcomerr2'
I don't understand this error, theses packages are not in my project dependencies.
Builds on other xUbuntu versions and Debian are succeeded.
Thanks,
Jean-Luc

Hi,
while building ISO image based on openSUSE TW with KIWI inside OBS, I
get very long list of "have choice for" (almost 50 pairs of choices).
Meanwhile I don't have suvh issues while building openSUSE Leap based
images. Does it is known bug of OBS regarding openSUSE Tumbleweed? How
to make automatically resolve big number of choices for openSUSE TW?

Hi all,
we have added simplistic support for RedHat's modules [1] (aka
"Application Streams). Basically Modularity is a way to have
multiple repositories wrapped into one.
The default in OBS is that no module packages are used at all.
If you need packages from some module (e.g. python36), you'll
need to enable the module you want in the project config:
ExpandFlags: module:python36-3.6
This enables module "python36" with stream version "3.6".
Just add more "module:XXX-YYY" arguments if you need multiple
modules. (You can also use multiple ExpandFlags lines.)
If you're wondering about what else you can do with a project
config, please check out our documentation [2].

Enjoy,
Michael.

Hi all,
in my OBS 2.10 instance, I'm seeing some kind of "baseline" of about 10 "Blocked build jobs" in the "Packages scheduled
for building" graph.
For the last day's graph, see https://paste.opensuse.org/18713173
This resets to 0 blocked jobs when I restart the scheduler.
Is this something to worry about or just a cosmetic issue? How would I proceed to debug this if I wanted to investigate
the issue?
Best regards,
seife

Hi,
At the onset, thanks for your wonderful work on OBS!
I have a local OBS instance (using the appliance download) which
currently only builds x86_64 binaries. I'm now trying to build a
Raspbian armv7l binary, but running into issues -
* The Status Monitor shows both i586 and armv7l as "dead". Do I need
to enable these arch in some config file? Or is some OBS service
failing at startup that I need to start manually?
* The project page shows the arm and i586 repository state as
"Unknown", while the package page does not show that distro/arch
combinations at all - not even when I click on "show excluded"
* I don't have a armv7 worker, but from some googling it looked to me
that armv7 can be built on a x86_64 worker using cross-builds. After
further googling, I added the following to my project config, but
still no luck -
%ifarch armv7l
Preinstall: qemu-linux-user
Runscripts: qemu-linux-user
Hostarch: x86_64
Macros:
%qemu_user_space_build 1
:Macros
%endif
Any help or suggestions is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Srivats

As in the title.
I'm maintaining network:cryptocurrencies/ethereum-cpp. It has a test
suite, which despite my efforts likes to randomly fail.
When i try to trigger rebuilding, I get error: "Error while triggering
rebuild for network:cryptocurrencies/ethereum-cpp: No permission to
modify project 'network:cryptocurrencies' for user 'etamPL'."
Obviously, I don't want to modify project. I just want to trigger rebuild.
Is this desired effect, or should I report a bug?

Hello,
My appimage is not able to start on old systems like Ubuntu 12.04 after latest rebuilding by OBS due to introduced dependency liblzo2.so.2: https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/linuxbuild/AppImage/
Could you please remove this dependency to revert cross-distro compatibility?
https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/8630
Thanks.

In my home project (home:rockowitz), I have 2 packages: ddcutil-test and
ddcui-test. I want the application built in ddcui-test to use the
library and development packages built in ddcutil.test. I've found a
couple pieces of documentation that say I should add a repository
element under the main <package> element, e.g.
From the openSUSE:Build Service tutorial
(https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_Tutorial):
<repository name="openSUSE_Factory">
<path project="openSUSE:Factory" repository="standard" />
<arch>x86_64</arch>
<arch>i586</arch>
</repository>
The example in the API documentation at
https://build.opensuse.org/apidocs/project.xml shows something similar:
<project name="superkde"> ...
<repository name="kde4:factory" rebuild="transitive">
<path project="kde4" repository="factory"/>
<releasetarget project="kde4" repository="snapshot"
trigger="manual"/>
<arch>i386</arch>
<arch>x86_64</arch>
</repository>
</project>
But when I try to include a <repository> element within <project> in my
metadata file, I receive the following error when saving it:
Error while saving the Meta file: package validation error: 4:0:
ERROR: Element package has extra content: repository.
Even something as simple the following triggers the error.
<package name="ddcui-test" project="home:rockowitz">
<title>Test builds of ddcui</title>
<description>For testing OBS builds of ddcui. Not for public
use.</description>
<repository></repository>
</package>
What am I missing?

Hi,
I am trying to build a package for CentOS that requires some packages
from epel + the developer toolset to be built.
I added the repositories in the project meta configuration - which looks
like this:
<repository name="CentOS_7">
<path project="security:zeek" repository="CentOS_7"/>
<path project="Fedora:EPEL:7" repository="standard"/>
<path project="CentOS:CentOS-7" repository="scl-rhscl"/>
<path project="CentOS:CentOS-7" repository="standard"/>
<arch>x86_64</arch>
</repository>
The spec file then require some packages from the repository,
speficically:
BuildRequires: epel-release kernel-devel cmake3 devtoolset-7
After trying this, the build has been blocked for several days with the
status “downloading 6 dod packages”.
Could anyone point me to what I am doing wrong?
Link to build:

Link to project meta:

Thanks a lot,
Johanna
