Hi, I want to move a old notify plugin to the new RabbitMQ implementation. For this I added an rabbitMQ server on the OBS frontend host (running OBS 2.9.2). After some trouble with the epmd and rabbitMQ server setup I finally got it running and could test it with the rabbitMQ tutorials, so I'm sure that this part is working. options.yml rabbitMQ stuff: # Rabbitmq based message bus # # Prefix of the message bus rooting key amqp_namespace: 'opensuse.obs' # # Connection options -> http://rubybunny.info/articles/connecting.html amqp_options: host: localhost port: 5672 user: guest pass: guest vhost: / # # Exchange@options -> http://rubybunny.info/articles/exchanges.html amqp_exchange_name: pubsub amqp_exchange_options: type: :topic auto_delete: false arguments: persistent: true passive: true #end of options.yml Then I used a simple python consumer: #!/usr/bin/env python import pika connection = pika.BlockingConnection(pika.ConnectionParameters(host='localhost')) channel = connection.channel() channel.exchange_declare(exchange='pubsub', exchange_type='topic') result = channel.queue_declare(exclusive=True) queue_name = result.method.queue channel.queue_bind(exchange='pubsub', queue=queue_name, routing_key='opensuse.obs.#') print(' [*] Waiting for pubsub. Do I need to config something more as the options.yml ? Does my code or the configuration be wrong ? Of course I restarted apache after any change in option.yml. hi all, I'm running my own OBS instance based on the official appliance image (2.8.4). All repos for various Suse flavours and Centos7 works fine. I have long term issue with Feadora_28. All packages in this project are in 'unresolvable' state, showing: nothing provides annobin < IF> needed by redhat-rpm-config What can be the issue? Hello. I use private OBS instance. Recently I added Fedora 28 for building my package. When I tried to build I get such message 'nothing provides annobin < IF> needed by redhat-rpm-config'. I tried to rebuild https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:MediaArea_net/ZenLib# on my OBS instance. So I got the same message. [opensuse-buildservice] Building OBS 2.9 in own OBS issues

Hi, yesterday I tried to import and build the OBS:Server:2.9 project in my private OBS 2.8 instance and found some issues. Import was done with osc copypac, build was tried for SLE12 SP3. 1.) package build failed to extract some spec/changes files (build-mkbaselibs-sle stuff), seems that was removed some time after the _service was written and last service run. Solution for me, I added <param name="version">20180111</param> <param name="revision">4db855ee8d1b81ac46c4b54a41724de587782bb4</param> to the _service to get the same version as used in the official build. 2.) Lot of ruby gems did stay unresolved because of ruby > 2.2.2 build requirements. Hmm, looked at the project config, but it was empty and indeed SLE12 SP3 prefers ruby2.1. Seems somebody did delete the project config after building the stable release (Is this normal ?). Solution for me: using the project config from the OBS:Server:2.9:Staging project. After this everything did build. Another issue was building openSUSE:Tools, the service file of obs-service-generator_pom points to a dead link, so it stays broken, maybe somebody can fix it, I did download the the service result and removed the _service file.
