Hello,
I'm totally new to the obs, so please be patient....
I'm trying to build the postgresql95 for opensuse12.3.
So I branched the original package from server:database/postgresql,
added a new repository and try to build it.
It fails with:
[ 333s] ... running 09-check-packaged-twice
[ 334s] ERROR: /usr/lib/postgresql is packaged in both
postgresql95-contrib and postgresql95-server, and the packages do not
conflict
[ 334s] ERROR: /usr/lib/postgresql is packaged in both
postgresql95-contrib and postgresql95, and the packages do not conflict
[ 334s] ERROR: /usr/lib/postgresql is packaged in both
postgresql95-server and postgresql95, and the packages do not conflict
I changed nothing in the specfile, so I tried to build it for Leap and
it simply worked.
So, why do I get this error for 12.3 but not for Leap? And how can I fix
this?
I also get messages "Failed to read auxiliary vector, /proc not
mounted?", I also have no idea about that.
Regards
Daniel

Hi, I've noticed strange build failures unrelated to the package
actually failing to build but packages that I've submitted to Leap:42.2
and Factory. First saw this with ffado-mixer a link of ffado which is
sr#416731, ffado-mixer failed to build in multimedia:apps Tumbleweed
i586 and clicking the web ui "failed" gave the message "received
truncated answer" after triggering a rebuild I got a message (can't
remember exactly) indicating the server was unreachable AFAIR. I
triggered the rebuild a few times and eventually got a successful build.
Unfortunately I can't remember details.
Now I've found the same problem in :
https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log/openSUSE:Leap:42.2:Stagin…
Using osc rbl also gives "received truncated answer"
What's wrong?
Thanks
Dave
Excuse the formatting of this message thunderbird is misbehaving as well

Hi
we are using a local OBS instance for our debian and ubuntu based packages.
Currently our remote OBS build rpm based packages should also be build
in this local instance.
Yesterday the build started. In The download repositories I cant find
any .repo file to use with a rpm based machine. The remote instance
(build.opensuse.org) has this file.
Do we have to enable anything in our local instance to build this .repo
file to use these packages locally?
Cheers
Mathias

When I run "osc rdiff -c 442 Base:System glibc" I get no output, but I'd
expect to get the same diff that I get from "osc rq show -d 407107".
Earlier revisions don't have this problem. Also, when issuing the api
call with "expand=0" I get a correct diff. The corresponding expanded
revisions are c60457ca347e1be482c43fab57813ee3 and
139d86ab44417129f81bbc53807137d0 and are clearly different.

Hi,
Is it possible to setup dependency chain for KIWI images? Like DVD
image depends on FTP and builds only after the latter is built.
That is useful to avoid ftp rebuild due to rebuild counter sync
Thanks,
DInar
