I recently posted questions re: usage of OSC/OBS, in the context of my own packaging,
[opensuse-packaging] 'osc build' fails @ RPM error: "file not found". spec file's BuildRoot:/%{buildroot} ignored, files instead installed under 'build-root' from ~/.oscrc.,
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2015-04/msg00104.html
[opensuse-packaging] How to configure osc subproject to use GCC v5 from devel:gcc by default, for all packages?
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-packaging/2015-04/msg00105.html
I waffled as to where to post them. The list descriptions
opensuse-packaging English Packaging RPM packages for the openSUSE distribution
opensuse-buildservice English Discussion about the Open Build Service
, the lists' members, and the topics discussed all appear to overlap somewhat.
I'm not clear about the delineation between the two. I'd rather not double-, or incorrectly, post.
Best to ask, once:
What list should those posts, specifically, have been posted to?

Hello,
It has been a few years since I last emailed and brought up this, but
I was wondering whether support for debbuild[1] ever got integrated
into OBS. I find myself increasingly making packages that need to work
on both Debian and RPM based systems, and being able to use a unified
spec file to build both would be fantastic, as it would save me a lot
of time (and prevent a lot of headaches in supporting two sets of
build scripts for packages).

Hi Debianers,
JFYI, Debian 8.0 and Ubuntu 15.04 just got imported.
openSUSE:Tools project is proving that they can build packages
in OBS but there might be still some quirks in the config.
The OBS client tool chain (osc & build package) is already
published. Would be great if someone of you can give it a
try, if basic osc operations (checkout and local build) are
working.
good morning

Hi,
since quite some time the brp-30-desktop check fails for three of my packages.
I double checked my category definition and it seems ok to me.
And the error messages looks like the test has a problem.
Otherwise pleas tell me what I'm doing wrong.
One of the packages in question is

My desktop file is:

Hi,
I think the authentication module is broken because I can not log in
into my account. nkrinner has the same problem.

Hello,
The %install_info on SLE_11_SP3 is calling sbin/install-info which is
not fully qualified, is this on purpose or is it a bug? I''ve
linkpac'd Publishing/texinfo -> devel:languages:R:released and the
%post is failing which calls %install_info yet install-info is
available in the build-root.

I went looking to see if a patch to fix the broken ATI Xorg driver had been
applied anywhere in BS homes by first searching
https://software.opensuse.org/package/xf86-video-ati for any that might
exist, downloading those I found, then examining their changelogs. The most
recent build found had only two changelog entries, both 3 years old. None of
the other 3 had any changelog entries dated more recent than 03 October. Why
are people getting drivers rebuilt that contain no changes from release
builds? What am I missing?
