[opensuse-buildservice] Request for a mytestbed namespace on OBS

Hi, We maintain and develop a set of tools for repeatable experiments over at mytestbed.net [0]. We have been using OBS for a while to build most of our packages (save for Arch, I'm not sure what to upload...) in the home namespace of one of our guys [1,2]. However, he has recently left, and we thought it might be a good time to get a project-specific namespace. Would it be possible to create a 'mytestbed' namespace in OBS for us to migrate the existing builds from [1,2], and use from then on? If needed, my OBS username is shtrom. It might however be better to make a meta user to own the namespace, with email address mytestbed(a)mytestbed.net. I can create the user manually if needed. Thanks. [opensuse-buildservice] data inconsistency (needs OBS admin to check and fix)

Hi, seems that I still suffer from some data inconsistency from last OBS crash. Could someone please check this project: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/openSUSE:Evergreen:Maintenance:297 and then https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/openSUSE:Evergreen:Maintenance:2… which shows an additional package which does not exist in the project? Also please check https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/239991 which is showing up in my task list but was already accepted successfully. Not sure what I should do with it. Open Build Service(OBS) 1:0 special edition released ==================================================== Yet another maintenance release for the 2.5 series. This update brings again fixes for handling with OBS remote instances in first place. There are some fixes for nested OBS interconnect usages, but this remains to be an official unsupported setup for now. Also a fix for a crash when using the packman OBS instance (or any other without a validated SSL CA). Thanks to B1-Systems for their improvements on the source archive cleanup functionality. [opensuse-buildservice] Builds failing for SLE_11 repository

Hi, Builds are failing for SLE_11 repository irrespective of the package. Its failing while setting up the environment itself. The error message is mkswap: error while loading shared libraries: libuuid.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory FYI : OBS project - systemsmanagement:zlm:backend3 packages - libredcarpet_0, libsatsolver_0, libsatsolver-backend Please look into it. [opensuse-buildservice] What is the next step, for creating installation packages, on public openSUSE build service

Hi all, I am new to public openSUSE build service. I have written a program, called Broadband Download Testing Tool - http://www.cppsoftware.net/freesoftware.html, using Qt SDK, and I want to create installation packages for various Linux distributions. Currently, I am creating Debian packages, using a free in price program, that I found on the web (Debcreator). So far, I created a "package", on public openSUSE build service: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:ivranos/bdtt and I uploaded all the source code files there. I am getting the error message "broken", in the build results of all targeted Linux distributions. I would like to know, what i have to do next, to correct the issue. [opensuse-buildservice] About permission denined /usr/lib and /usr/include

I have tried to get an answer on the IRC, but no luck on a solution. I need to create packages for a client, which places header files in /usr/include or /usr/local/lib and .a files in /usr/lib or /usr/local/lib My problem is, when I uploaded to build.opensuse.org, and tries to build I get an permission denined, do to the fact i runs in CHROOT (which of course makes sense). I was then told to add %{buildroot} to the path /usr/lib. But still no luck. Here is where I encounter the problem first in the spec file: %setup if [ ! -d %{buildroot}"/usr/local/lib/secret/"%{name}"_"%{version} ] && [ ! -d %{buildroot}"/usr/local/include/secret/"%{name}"_"%{version} ]; then mkdir %{buildroot}/usr/local/lib/secret/%{name}_%{version} mkdir %{buildroot}/usr/local/include/secret/%{name}_%{version} echo %{name} " version: " %{version} "has been installed in the secret library" else echo This version of ninja is already installed fi and later in install when I try to move my files there ˘ can anyone give me at least an idea on how to fix this ? [opensuse-buildservice] Problem mysql-workbench

Hello, i don't no wether this is the right list. But i have a question for pakage mysql-workbench. I run 64bit openSUSE 13.1 I have a branch from server:database in my home:repo. I have upgraded my package earlier then server:database to 3.1.7. All worked without error. But then server:database upgraded too and my repo was sync. After that my version of workbench does not work anymore. So, i upload my 'old' version to build service. And now i can run it from my repo again. For me, mysql-workbennch from repo server:database does not start. Mysq-workbench from my repo home:ecsos worked without errors. Whats the different between server:database and home:ecsos? Can you please help me and explain me why my version runs and the version from server:database not?
