[opensuse-buildservice] How to compile something for Mac OS X using build.opensuse.org ?

My peer wants to have PSI+ IM compiled for MAC OS X. The page http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_comparison says "Support for any OS and architecture due to the use of VM's for building the packages. This includes ... Mac OS X (if anyone would want to work on that)." [opensuse-buildservice] Help needed: Private OBS fails to build Ubuntu 13.10

Hi, we have a private OBS running which works nicely building packages for a couple of distros such as openSUSE, Debian etc. The only distro which does not work is xUbuntu_13.10, it says: xUbuntu_13.10 i586 unresolvable: nothing provides python3:any >= 3.3.2-2~ needed by apparmor-easyprof nothing provides python3:any >= 3.3.2-2~ needed by dh-python xUbuntu_13.10 x86_64 unresolvable: nothing provides python3:any >= 3.3.2-2~ needed by apparmor-easyprof nothing provides python3:any >= 3.3.2-2~ needed by dh-python which does not make sense for me. Maybe there is something wrong with the import of the base packages from openSUSE OBS? What can I do to debug? Who can help? Hello, I detected this error in : http://openqa.opensuse.org/opensuse/factory-testing/repo/non-oss/media.1/me… http://openqa.opensuse.org/opensuse/factory-testing/repo/non-oss/ Error parsing package 'lomt-sortsmillgoudy-fonts' (tag 'Prv'). Possibly corrupted channel file (openqa-factory-oss). ( 38%) I cannet see content of [1]so cannot detail any more. [opensuse-buildservice] Debian kernel build failing.

Hi all, I'm trying to build a Debian kernel package in OBS (opensuse version), and it fails with the following error: [ 323s] This target is made to fail intentionally, to make sure [ 323s] that it is NEVER run during the automated build. Please [ 323s] ignore the following error, the debian/control file has [ 323s] been generated SUCCESSFULLY. [ 323s] [ 323s] exit 1 [ 323s] make[1]: *** [debian/control-real] Error 1 [ 323s] make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/packages/BUILD' [ 323s] make: *** [debian/control] Error 2 [ 323s] dpkg-buildpackage: error: fakeroot-tcp debian/rules clean gave error exit status 2 Same thing happens when I build it locally. Yet, I've seen this package build successfully in an "internal" version of OBS behind a company firewall (don't know what special version / flags they used). Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? The four topmost builds on OBS seem to hang: Project Package Repository - Build Arch Job time Build Host Host Arch devel:ARM:Factory java-1_7_0-openjdk qemu - armv6l 3 days build70:2 x86_64 devel:ARM:Factory java-1_7_0-openjdk qemu - armv7l 3 days build79:2 x86_64 openSUSE:Factory:ARM pdftk standard - aarch64 1 day build78:4 x86_64 Publishing pdftk openSUSE_Factory_ARM - aarch64 1 day build79:1 x86_64 For the former 2, the java compiler doesn't seem to respond, and the latter two are OOM. [opensuse-buildservice] status of submit requests and further package changes

A few weeks agon OBS had a bug which prevented further work on a package for which a SR to Factory is pending. Basically the bug was that the SR will be rejected if the package in the source project was changed before OBS had a chance to build binaries from the SR. Is this bug fixed, or shall I better wait a day or two before commiting more changes to such a package? Thanks, and what files can i link()? Hard link is used for build->jobdir and then for jobdir->newprj_builddir. New project files will be hard linked with src project and this potentially can effect if some daemon do open() for files. [opensuse-buildservice] iconv and libcharset in mingw32 build

I am trying to build a package (libspatialite) that uses iconv. I am getting this error in the build: [ 66s] checking iconv.h usability... yes [ 66s] checking iconv.h presence... yes [ 66s] checking for iconv.h... yes [ 66s] checking for library containing iconv... -liconv [ 66s] checking for library containing locale_charset... no [ 66s] checking for library containing nl_langinfo... no [ 66s] configure: error: 'libcharset' is required but it doesn't seem to be installed on this system. I am using mingw32-win_iconv-devel from windows:mingw:win32 I am not really familiar with iconc and so I don't really know if this is where libcharset should be. Os it this in another package?
