This is a Debian packaging question. Please ask on a Debian support
list how the devel packages are named.

I've tried bootstrapping 13.10, using the 13.04 project config, and I
get this at the end of the log file:
|[ 66s] [200/210] installing mount
[ 66s] Selecting previously unselected package mount.
[ 66s] Processing triggers for man-db ...
[ 67s] [201/210] installing udev

[ 67s] initctl: Unable to connect to Upstart: Failed to connect to

[ 67s] * udev requires a mounted sysfs, not started
[ 67s] ...fail!
[ 67s] invoke-rc.d: initscript udev, action "restart" failed.
[ 67s] dpkg: error processing udev (--install):
[ 67s] subprocess installed post-installation script returned error
exit status 1

[ 67s] Errors were encountered while processing:

Any ideas on how to correct this?
Thanks.

It doesn't, as you have seen.

the following links returns the "home_scalaris_0.6.x_ArchLinux.db.tar.gz"
instead of the needed "home_scalaris_0.6.x_ArchLinux.db"
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/scalaris:/0.6.x/ArchLinux/x…
same for the .files file:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/scalaris:/0.6.x/ArchLinux/x…
now when Arch tries to download the file, it uses the name supplied by the
server and since it expected a .db file, it is not able to find it afterwards,
resulting in the following:

strangely though in another repo this does not happen:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/scalaris:/svn/ArchLinux/x86…http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/scalaris:/svn/ArchLinux/x86…
is there some (temporary) glitch in the repo creation for Arch?!

What does it mean that the repository target openSUSE_Factory_ARM is
marked "unresolvable" and others were marked "excluded" in my project?

Hi All,
Yesterday I noticed that the repository
/repositories/Application:/Geo/openSUSE_11.4/
is removed. I suspect that an error was involved. There was a request
to remove the Geo repo for version 12.1 (request id. 190115), but that
one is still there.
OpenSuSE 11.4 is presently on Evergreen LTS, and we use the software
in this repo at the office on our GIS workstation.
Can someone please restore the repo for 11.4?
Thanks in advance,

If I take a snapshot of the Ubuntu 13.10 beta, and import that into OBS,
if I want to replace the packages with the released version later on,
can I simply stop the scheduler, replace the files, and restart the
scheduler? Will OBS pick up that some dependencies have been updated and
rebuild everything?
Thanks.

Hi,
I tried to add ruby to the built dependencies of a package of mine and got the
following message on ArchLinux in OBS (during "osc build" on my dev machine):
unresolvable: nothing provides libyaml needed by ruby
Can someone import this package as well so we can build ruby packages?
Thanks
Nico
I'm trying to bootstrap Ubuntu 13.04 (Private OBS - Version 2.3.x), but
I'm running to an issue..
I've followed:
http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_private_instance_boot_strappi…
Created a project
Uploaded the config
Uploaded the metadata
Stopped the scheduler
Put the packages there
Started the scheduler
Run the bs_admin command and...
2013-08-19 18:38:41: looking at high prio Ubuntu:13.04/standard (0/0/0/0/43)
- Ubuntu:13.04/standard: no longer exists
What am I missing?
This is kinda frustrating, as I'm blocked until I get this going. :(
Hopefully someone here can get me pointed in the right direction.
Thanks!

I'm having problems with the new release of my editor on the
openSUSE build server (https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:towo2:mined/mined).
In some repositories, Debian 7 and Ubuntu, it did not find a library
of the termcap API (usually ncurses). The dynamic libraries (.so) are
well hidden within /lib/i386-linux-gnu (or ...x86_64...) - why is that?
On Debian 7, I could resolve the issue by linking the libraries directly
but the same approach does not work on Ubuntu (although the libraries
are there).
What can I do? I assume having the static library (.a) available would
also resolve the issue, but they are not installed.
Thanks and kind regards,
Thomas Wolff
