It seems the OBS Security key (keyid 79EAFD54) on keys.gnupg.net has expired (2011-Apr-2). Would it be possible for someone to update it? [opensuse-buildservice] Problem building Perl packages for SLES11SP2 with certain build requirements

Hello everyone, I have a question/problem with Perl packages and BuildRequires when building for SLES(SP2). The problem comes up with multiple packages when trying to build them for SLES, let's look at perl-HTTP-BrowserDetect from devel:languages:perl for example. The spec files includes: --- BuildRequires: perl(Module::Build) >= 0.3601 --- and the build log clearly states (see https://build.opensuse.org/package/rawlog?arch=x86_64&package=perl-HTTP-Bro…) that it is being installed: --- installing perl-Module-Build-0.36.07-4.1 --- but still, the build fails with: --- Module::Build version 0.3601 required--this is only version 0.280801 at Build.PL line 5. --- As far as I understand, "Module::Build" v0.280801 is already installed by default under SLES11SP2 and the newer required version 0.3607 is not found OR the older version is found first by the script "Build.pl". A second example would be "perl-POE-Test-Loops" which requires a version of Test::More/Test::Simple >=0.94, but this is not found although installed (i.e. only an older version is found), see log here: https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=perl-… How do I circumvent this problem? Hello With the opensuse build service [obs] getting more usage every day I wonder if this would make a diffence :- 1. Use solid state disks [ssd] to improve build times of package rpms on, perhaps point the BuildRoot or _tmppath to the ssd's Reason for asking. Improve the packaging times during busy times on obs. Hello, having just updated to OBS 1.3, my API is now running under https (not a bad idea). I have created a PRIVATE certificate following the README. --------------- mkdir /srv/obs/certs openssl genrsa -out /srv/obs/certs/server.key 1024 openssl req -new -key /srv/obs/certs/server.key \ -out /srv/obs/certs/server.csr openssl x509 -req -days 365 -in /srv/obs/certs/server.csr \ -signkey /srv/obs/certs/server.key -out /srv/obs/certs/server.crt cat /srv/obs/certs/server.key /srv/obs/certs/server.crt \ > /srv/obs/certs/server.pem ---------------------- I see that with osc (version 0.134.1) if the privately signed certificate is create with a Common Name (CN) which is not the server name, osc refuses to chat with the API. That is bit strick as : - CN name is normally free of use - In that mode access via IP address is not possible any more - auto recovery system with shadow server configuration cannot be done. That is very strange as it seems that when the certificate with an official root, the common name is not critical. Any clue how to overcome that issue ? Hi, I added some lines to my project config to ease RHEL6/CentOS6 packaging and was told by Ismail Dönmez that it maybe useful to integrate them at a higher level. So here they are: %if 0%{?centos_version} >= 600 || 0%{?rhel_version} >= 600 Substitute: libxerces-c-devel xerces-c-devel Substitute: pkg-config pkgconfig Substitute: libexpat-devel expat-devel %endif One more question while I am here: Does anyone know if the package lists for CentOS and RHEL always differ (for instance concerning xerces-c) or whether this is a build service peculiarity? [opensuse-buildservice] Introducing the Freight Train

Hey all! As SUSE is gearing up for SLE 12, SUSE is doing more in openSUSE. Features like systemd and grub2 are examples and more will follow. That is good for openSUSE, but it can also lead to conflicts. Most of our engineers are involved in other upstream projects and know the drill of working with communities, but even then there's a risk that all this 'tramples' a bit over what we've been doing in openSUSE. That's called the 'Freight Train' effect, see [1] for a bit more background. We'd of course like to do what we can to smoothen this out and discussed this a bit with the openSUSE Boosters and some other people. One result was that we decided to set up a special mail address with a number of people where community members who get bitten by the freight train can yell at. Obviously the goal is to then investigate and do something about it. We try to have a small number of people on there, preferably including SUSE- ians from Nuremberg and Prague so they can approach people directly when needed and talk/hug/beat some sense in them and/or coach/guide. The team aims to help with TECHNICAL issues. Merge requests being ignored, patches rejected. It's not about solving bugs, helping users with questions, or doing something about personal conflics. There are other places for those! Right now, the team consists of AJ, Henne and myself - we'd like a SUSE volunteer from Prague. If anyone else is willing to step up, that's good too. Note that we look for technical people who know many community members and have some social and coaching skills. Some people might think there is or will be no problem - the mail address won't get much issues to solve so we can kill it off soon enough. We're fine with that! It might also get unrelated or other issues, which we'll try to relay those to the board, sysadmins or opensuse-project. Hi all, I wonder if it wouldn't be better to disable building all gcc compilers < 4.6 for ARM. I see that they fail to build and they use build capacity. I don't think these compilers won't be fixed for ARM anyway? I don't think that they will be used? Can't locate Archive/Tar.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /.build /usr/local/lib/perl5 /usr/local/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 .) at /.build/Build/Arch.pm line 6. While i am build eplist i show the following message : "unresolvable nothing provides python-requests, nothing provides >= 0.9.1, nothing provides python-BeautifulSoup, nothing provides >= 3.2.0" . As i know this dependency is provided by other repository ( *i am building) These dependencies are placed at the following repository: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/devel:/languages:/python/openSUSE… My question is how can i add this dependency on the spec file in order to be build correctly. Hi, I could use some help with a build failure: https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=cloud… The problem occurs after the built rpms have been installed. After this step some checks are running. The end of the build log shows the following: cloud-usage-3.0.1-5.1 ... running 01-check-debuginfo ... testing for empty debuginfo packages ... running 02-check-gcc-output ... testing for serious compiler warnings (using /usr/lib/build/checks-data/check_gcc_output) (using //.build.log) ... running 03-check-binary-kernel-log ... running 04-check-filelist ... checking filelist cloud-client: "/etc/sysconfig/cloud-management" is not allowed anymore in SuSE Linux. chown: missing operand after `/' Try `chown --help' for more information. [ 221.744172] System halted. I have no idea what do to with the chown error. There is a "chown" call in one of the initscripts in the packages, but the %post scripts that activate the initscripts are are disabled with %if ! 0%{?opensuse_bs} ... %endif Help is appreciated. Hi all, I've just checked out why v8 fails for ARM. If fails with the following rpmlint error: <quote> RPMLINT report: =============== (none): E: badness 10000 exceeds threshold 1000, aborting. libv8-3.armv7l: E: shlib-policy-name-error (Badness: 10000) libv8preparser3 Your package contains a single shared library but is not named after its SONAME. </quote> For the x86 factory build it doesn't, the packages are created without a problem. Might it mean that the rpmlint for ARM is different for ARM? Hello, I'm building a package that requires perl-Net-Whois-RIPE 1.31 or OLDER and I'm wondering what's the best approach to go about adding that version to a repo, devel:lang:perl repo in this case, which already includes version 2.00009? Should I repackage it changing the name to perl-Net-Whois-RIPE1 and include a Conflicts for version -gt 2? Or change nothing so they sit alongside each other in to repo but set the Require for my package to version 1.31? [opensuse-buildservice] overwhelmed by llvm builds?

All, I just happened to look at the OBS status monitor page a few hours. I did a quick count of llvm build jobs currently in progress. Then I checked again just now. Both times it was about 40 currently building build jobs and that does not include llvm-clang, llvm-latest, etc So that's about 40 llvm builds that have been running for several hours.. I don't know if that is reasonable or not, but I've never noticed one package dominating the build farm like that before. [opensuse-buildservice] Is there a macro for the release?

Hi, Dealing with a source tree that has distribution dependence backed right into the build setup. It looks for /etc/*-release. Is there a way for me to have a requires that install the appropriate release package? When I add: %if %sles_version >= 11 BuildRequires: sles-release %endif %if 0%{?suse_version} BuildRequires: openSUSE-release %endif It obviously fails as SLE also returns true for suse_version and then of course the openSUSE-release package cannot be found. What's the best way to deal with this? It doesn't really bother me, and perhaps someone else already noticed, but build26 has been going nowhere for the last few days. It started with about ten red-stuck jobs, and now it only has two workers, both stuck with cups (ARM)[0] and galaxy[1]. Hi All, Package poco has een enormous memory footprint while building. When building on x86_64 OBS workers the build even fails. The build is OK locally for me, due to more internal memory. The make flag is like this "make %{?_smp_mflags}" which is the preferred make for the spec file. What is the preferred way to reduce the make jobs so this package get build? Hi, is there an OBS server maintance executing? after 8:00 PM GMT+8, OBS can't open or refresh. (I lost some work, but just a little bit) the ping is okay, traceroute shows a suse.de server does not response, website is bad gateway, local osc vc will use username@localhost, when saving, it will tell you can't find your username. are you people maintaining server or updating hardware? if so, please pre-post a short notification here, it won't take you much time. OBS is international, this will make us in your night timezone less worried. I have this[0] branch where I'm trying to fix python3-rpm and submit it to Base:System, but after a recent (really trivial) change I made a couple of days ago, it became blocked, and didn't unblock. Base:System for Factory is now fully built (albeit glibc is failed, not sure why), but the branch is still blocked. I smell foul. Any ideas how to unblock it? (or if it's the glibc thing?) [opensuse-buildservice] how to clear a false unresolvable

I've got some packages falsely claiming to be unresolvable for some build targets, just some arches in some targets. I know they are resolvable and buildable because they already built, and the same packages still build fine for the same targets just in other subprojects. Specifically, in home:aljex I have build targets suse 10.0 and 10.1 aming others. In OS 10.1 x86_64 (just x86_64, i586 is fine) package jbigkit is claiming to be unresolvable because "nothing provides m4 1.4.4 required by autoconf". m4-1.4.4 is available since that's the native version of m4 for os 10.1, and, the i586 arch built, and, they both built a few days ago, and, they both build right now for the same target in home:aljex:branches:graphics/jbigkit What caused this problem is I briefly had newer versions of autoconf, automake and m4 in the same hopme:aljex repo and that unsurprisingly screwed a lot of things up. I removed or disabled those at least for the older targets and most packages are back to normal. But for whatever reason just these two things are stuck. just 10.0 i586 and 10.1 x86_64. How can I force the build service to re-resolve, or at least tell me more about why it's failing? It's saying nothing provides m4 1.4.4 but that's not true. So I need to know why it thinks that. The problem autoconf/automake/m4 packages are no longer in the download repos and I even disabled the publish and use for build flags for them for those targets "just because". I don't know what else I can clean up or fix. How can I debug this further to find out what's _really_ wrong? Hi, I ran into a bug in the file action of the build controller in the OBS API. Whenever the backend has a file that is exactly of size 8192*n+1 and the last byte is 0x30 = '0' the API cannot deliver the complete file through the path build/:project/:repository/:arch/:package/:filename but delivers only the full 8192 chunks without the final byte. Some debugging demonstrated the the backend itself does still deliver the file correctly but the API does cut off the last byte. I am not a deep Ruby expert but my interpretation of this behavior is that apparently some part of the code incorrectly interprets a chunk consisting of a single 0x30 = '0' as an empty chunk and thus concludes that the file reading has completed. Especially since it does not seem to happen when the last byte is different from 0x30. You can reproduce that by just placing a file there of the above style (for instance with "echo -n 0 > foobar.rpm" for the most simple case of n=0) and then try to retrieve it through the API. Hi, I observed the following behavior which seems inconsistent to me but maybe there is a reason behind that that I currently don't see: - When deleting all architecture from a repository, the corresponding /srv/obs/build/$PRJ/$REPO/$ARCH directory is not wiped, nor is /src/obs/repos/$PRJ/$REPO/*. - When deleting a repository from a project, the corresponding directories are neither deleted in those places. - When deleting the whole project, the corresponding directories _do_ get deleted (which is what I would have expected in all three cases). Is there a reason that in the first two cases the directories don't get removed or is this a bug? In case of a bug: Is my assumption correct that it would be safe for me to delete the mentioned directories with a script on the backend or might I introduce some inconsistencies that way? Hi, IMO the new search webinterface is quiet useless now. You have to do too many clicks just to find out which exactly versions of a package are available and what particular project it comes from. In fact it even seems to find much less packages than available on OBS. It's not clear on first view how to browse directly into the source project page where the search hit belongs too. Also IMO confusiong that project names are shown somehow "human readble" instead of just using the well known (and copy/pasteble) strings like "openSUSE:11.4:Update". Another thing, why you always hide the "show distribution" menu after submitting the search button? This is very annoying. Moreover I generally hate these kind of java script pages where the page back button never does what you would expect... It seems there is no documented way to skip/disable that nag page. 1.) How do I get rid of that page without linking to a remote instance? 2.) How to create a watch file for a tarball found on the OBS (Open Build Service). First find the Sources package page for the package that uses your tarball. If you do not already know this, perhaps you can search for it here: https://build.opensuse.org/search Once you have found the page for your package, you can click on "Sources". In my example, my package is libreoffice-converter, so I find this page: https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=libreoffice-converter&proj… You should find links for the various sources that go to make up the source rpm. And this should include the tarball. If you look at the source for that web page, it will include a link that looks like this: <a href="https://api.opensuse.org:443/public/source/LibreOffice:Unstable/libreoffice… converter-3.3.tar.bz2?rev=2dffadb97b188c6bc4c0037f1d4c446d&"> The \?rev=BLAH stuff needs to be thrown away. Hello all, I have trouble on installing a obs worker with version 2.2.994-1.3.noarch I run the following setup: OBS-Server (192.168.122.173) OBS-Worker (192.168.122.8) Both are KVM on the same host and each installed with this documentation: http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_private_installation Both are also in the same (virtual) network and have access to internet and can ping each other by IP. I used this for install the server: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools/images/obs-server… And this for the worker: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/openSUSE:/Tools/images/obs-worker… I'm able to access the OBS-Server Webui as I would expect it. I installed the worker regarding: #Installing_the_obs-worker_software The worker boots up and complains that it failes to fetch initial code on http://localhost:5252 (when i manual change in /etc/rc.d/obsworker localhost to obs server ip the fetch of the initial code works 'done') I can login as root. Now I tried to configure the worker and got stuck here: #Configuring_the_OBS_instance_names There is no /usr/lib/obs/server/BSConfig.pm on my worker. I'm also missing /etc/sysconfig/obs-worker (which is mentioned in other documentations.) there is only obs-server slptool findsrvs obs.source_server slptool findsrvs obs.repo_server give me nothing (no output). Can anyone point me in the correct direction? Hi, I noticed this weekend the regexp used to select repository for 1-click url can be incorrect, when you want an "unsupported" repository : on http://software.opensuse.org/package/calibre do the following: - choose "other version" - choose "openSUSE 12.1" - choose "unsupported packages" - accept the warning - check the urls created for the "Documentation:Tools" line (also valid for KDE:Extra) instead of referencing to openSUSE:12.1 repository, the various links are preferring KDE_Release_48_openSUSE_12.1 instead. I guess the regexp used to choose the repository should favor openSUSE_12.1 and only use another repository if openSUSE_12.1 isn't available in the project. Currently it seems to take awfully long[*] to do a complete rebuild with long periods of packages remaining in scheduled and blocked state and makes development rather painful. The whole project is rather lightweight, locally I can do a full rebuild of all packages of a build target and arch in under 30 minutes. Hi all, I found some errors in de configurations of the OBS 2.3 server. I've attached the corrected files and the patches. It's related to: Documentation: /usr/share/doc/packages/obs-api/README.SETUP Apache vhosts configuration: /etc/apache2/vhosts.d/obs.conf I've added the api port 81 connection as a quick fix and as the internal doesn't really need to be encrypted. [opensuse-buildservice] To fetch latest <pkg>.rpm during build from build repository

Hi, Is there a way to get latest <pkg>.rpm during build from build repository ? I would like to get the latest rpm available of a certain package build in OBS and bundle the same in another package. The Buildrequires section in the spec file will fetch the rpm & installs. But the installed rpms are not available anywhere in the chroot. Please do let me know If there are any solution to the above mentioned scenario. Hi, I have the feeling that there is an endless loop on the OBS for openSUSE:Factory. "gcc46" is continuously rebuild (together with projects like cracklib). Looking at the output, cf. below, I have the feeling the changes are either due to encoded build time or due to different orders because of "make -j <n>". At least the following change is expected: |-GFORTRAN module version '6' created from omp_lib.f90 on Fri Apr 13 16:12:52 2012 +GFORTRAN module version '6' created from omp_lib.f90 on Fri Apr 13 18:14:16 2012| (If you think that encoding the date is a bad idea: In GCC 4.7, .mod files do no longer have a date line in the file.) Hello, i am trying to build packages for ubuntu. The strange thing is that i get problems with dependencys though ubuntu should have all the build dependencies in their repositories (I can successfully build the package on launchpad). Well it looks like i am building with a different repository that the official ubuntu one. But since i do not changed anything according to that in the project meta data i do not know how this should work... Has anyone an idea what i am doing wrong? Thanks for help in advance. Hi, I seem to have an odd issue in home:dimstar:gcc47. On a project level, use-for-build is disabled (to not trigger too many rebuilds) openCOLLADA has use-for-build enabled on package level blender BuildRequires openCOLLADA-devel, yes I always see it 'pulling in' the 'old' version, not my updated one... took me a while of course to see that. So now I changed the BuildRequires to be >= svn840 (svn838 is the one being pulled in). Obviously, now blender shows 'unresolvable', which is better, but not explainable (just yet). Can anybody see why openCOLLADA-devel svn868, which is built in home:dimstar:gcc47, is not being used here? Thanks a lot! (This won't fix blender for gcc 4.7 just yet, but at least it stops me from chasing bugs in underlying packages which I already fixed). Could someone please clarify md5sum of what is captured in "rev" . Also I am only interested in using the standard revision numbers in the links (ex: 12, 34, 89 etc). There is a way to map the md5sum value to a particular revision of the source project? Is there way to tell OSC to use only the revision numbers instead of md5sum values while creating new links? Hello All, I hope this is the right mailing list, please advise is not.... Thx. I'm in the process of creating a private OBS instance to support creation of a distro for a storage platform. The distro will be based on either CentOS or openSUSE and contain proprietary application packages. The one thing I can't seem to grok from the wiki is how updates are managed for the base OS using obs? I think our goal would be to have the ability to create our distro that included all relevant updates to base OS packages at the time of image creation. Regardless of whether we use a public repo instance for the base OS, or a private one, the repo is static wrt to package updates for the base distro. So I'm a little lost on how to manage package updates. I searched through the archives for the last six months and unless I missed a thread, didn't see anything resembling this... How do other private obs instances handle this? Any advice would be welcome. I wanted to share an idea and get people's feedback... On several occasions I've wanted to build a private repository containing all the RPMs - both standard and proprietary - needed to build a complete system. The idea is that, for some target machine, we start with a "master" RPM that (directly and indirectly) requires every other RPM that the target machine needs. There may be a bunch of these target machines and associated RPMs. The goal is then to build a single RPM repository containing all of the (directly and indirectly) required RPMs for all of these target machines. It should also be possible to add to this repository over time. This single repository is then used to build the target machines. E.g., it could be put on a DVD, etc., so no network need be available. To do this I wrote a simple utility that is a wrapper around zypper and createrepo called "pullrpms" available here: http://code.google.com/p/pullrpms/ I'm curious if other people have encountered this same problem, and how they have addressed it, etc. FWIW. -Archie -- Archie L. Hi. The file dist/obs-apache2.conf from obs-server-2.2.131.tar.bz2, package obs-server, project openSUSE:Tools:Unstable is configured to use /srv/obs/repos for the repository vhost. In the appliance, this leads to the error "[Tue Apr 10 12:29:43 2012] [error] [client 10.136.17.142] Symbolic link not allowed or link target not accessible: /srv/obs" as /srv/obs is a symlink to /obs. I guess, in the appliance this config file should be patched to use /obs/repos, so the appliance works out of the box? Is it possible to check in the spec file whether I'm building with osc locally or in obs? Or whether it's in Factory or in my home project? [opensuse-buildservice] Cannot make changes to "configuration" of a OBS 2.3 instance

Hi, I was hoping to debug this problem in detail and probably, provide a patch to fix the problem. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to do either and I just wanted to make sure that this problem was known before the final release of OBS 2.3. If you login to a OBS 2.3 instance as "Admin" or a different user that has "admin" privileges, you'll see a "Configuration" page in webui's home page. In this form, if you make a change to "description" or "title" fields and submit the form, you'll receive "Failed to save configuration" error message. Hi, I'm trying to submit a package to openSUSE factory, but get the error seen in the subject of this message (from factory-auto). Honestly, I don't even know what the error is supposed to mean. Running osc service localrun source_validator as mentioned in the details of the error gives me "too few arguments". Adding the specfile as last argument gives me "too many arguments". The manpage doesn't contain usage information for that particular operation either. I tried looking at the build service specfile guidelines, but couldn't discern any info that seemed related. The specfile in question already contains a copyright comment. [opensuse-buildservice] weird bug with disabled builds

I recently ran into an issue (or perhaps multiple issues) which took me a while to resolve, and I think there is at least one bug here. I'm using obs 2.1.17.2. I was asked to determine why a package (foo) was building using another package (bar) from the same project, despite bar being disabled for build, publish, and with 'use for build' also disabled. I tried many incantations of 'wipebinaries' and yet I could still clearly see the rpms in /srv/obs/build/<project>/. The first issue is that (a), an upstream project was providing a newer version of "bar" but it wasn't being used. That seemed weird, but maybe explainable. See https://build.opensuse.org/package/files?package=lightspark&project=home%3A… The _service:format_spec_file:lightspark.spec file uses CMAKE_SKIP_RPATH instead of the CMAKE_BUILD_WITH_INSTALL_RPATH from the original .spec file. It's from an old revision and I have no idea why it appeared there when I added the "<topadd>%define _with_ffmpeg 1</topadd>" line to the _link file. Hi, lately it seems that something in the Kernel:stable project is not resolved correctly, especially in the i586 arch. Package "preload" shows "unresolvable" in https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?project=Kernel%3Astable although the associated kernel packages are built fine. Other projects that refer to this one, are showing also this "unresolvable" message in the i586 arch. Kernel modules for Tumbleweed seems to be also affected. Tumbleweed uses the same kernel packages, eg: https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?project=Virtualization%3AVirtual… https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor?project=multimedia%3Aaudio%3AKMP Currently "i586 unresolvable" reports: nothing provides kernel-desktop-devel = 3.3.1-18 needed by kernel-syms, nothing provides kernel-pae-devel = 3.3.1-18 needed by kernel-syms, nothing provides kernel-xen-devel = 3.3.1-18 needed by kernel-syms Any clues? [opensuse-buildservice] server:mail python-policyd-spf SLE 11 problems.

Hi, I have been unable to get the SLES 11 targets to build. When I first started I have all SLES and non SUSE targets building with python-policyd-spf.spec.begin. I know I had the syntax wrong with >=> but it worked. I now have the python-policyd-spf.spec file working for all but the SLES 11 targets. I did not have to try and add the line to chmod to add +x but I thought adding it where I did would allow the build it does not. I have lost most of my knowledge when I had my stroke like illness back in Aug/Sep 2009. So, I am really at a loss. I have fought with this now for a week. Any ideas will be greatly apprecated. [opensuse-buildservice] 12.1 and obs-server install

Using packages from the 12.1 tools repo, installed obs-server and proceeded with the instructions given in [1]. Everything went relatively well, until importing base distribution [2] to backend, namely after using obs_mirror_project, the import did not go so well: $ obs_mirror_project openSUSE:12.1 standard i586 $ rcobsscheduler restart $ cd /srv/www/obs/api/script $ RAILS_ENV="production" ruby import The last command gave me an exception stack, with key issue being: uninitialized constant Suse::Validator::SCHEMA_LOCATION (NameError) Tried adding require File.dirname(__FILE__) + '/../config/environment.rb in the import script, which gave me some warnings about things already defined, but included the file defining SCHEMA_LOCATION and I got forward. I had to edit /srv/obs/projects/openSUSE:12.1.xml as well, mostly to remove some group privileges as the groups were not present my local db. After that, I got --> storing projects openSUSE:12.1 => success --> storing packages for project 'openSUSE:12.1' <-- fin and everything seemed to be okay. However, when I log in to my local obs, it asks me to connect a remote open build service instance for default base distribution. I'm pretty sure that was what I just did manually? Or is it something I need to do even if I use curl to upload openSUSE.org.xml to my local server from the package and import the base distribution from command line? Using osc, I get $ osc -A https://myhost.mydomain.com:444 ls deleted openSUSE.org openSUSE:12.1 which suggests that the project I imported is there. The documentation doesn't mention anything about this after the importing part. Is there a more complete documentation somewhere? Everything I googled seemed to be out of date. [opensuse-buildservice] Upgrade to 2.99 (look like a 2.3) breaks the obs server

Hello, I went through the pain to upgrade my obs-server to version 2.99 which looks very much like a 2.3. While the upgrade is fairly painful it's worth the pain. UI is better and apache is more reliable than httplight. On an OBS Light server appliance (http://wiki.meego.com/OBS_Light) the upgrade can be done by a simple zypper update which upgrade and let you with a broken server. I guess that the same issue could occurs to any OBS server installation. [opensuse-buildservice] wine-devel-32bit in home:RedDwarf not available to x86_64 build

Marcus was kind enough to add a wine-devel-32bit subpackage that is now available in Factory. Because of this now my lmms x86-64 build has VST support. To support it also in 12.1 I linked the wine package from the devel project to my home repo. I even added the "ExportFilter: ^wine.*\.i586.rpm$ . x86_64" line to my prjconf, even if I guess it is inherited from the openSUSE:12.1 prjconf. But home:RedDwarf/lmms in openSUSE_12.1/x86_64 is still in the unresolvable state because it can't find wine-devel-32bit.
