I maintain an upstream repository "The Scribus Archive" that contains scribus (stable 1.3.3.x) and scribus-ng (developmental 1.3.5svn) packages for Debian stable/testing/unstable and the latest three Ubuntu releases as a courtesy for Scribus users to allow them to stay current with the Scribus development and bugfixes as Ubuntu doesn't provide these updates. See http://www.scribus.net/?q=debian for more information. However, until recently I didn't have access to an x86_x64 build environment, so I only provided i386 packages I built locally. Using OBS I can add the amd64 packages to the archive. There is very little overhead for me to support three releases as opposed to one or two and not all users strive to upgrade to the latest Ubuntu release, especially in the production environment where they can't afford to loose time on working around the latest Ubuntu bugs as well. Therefore, I currently make packages for U 8.04, 7.10, and 7.04. First, OBS is a fantastic service. Big thanks to all who pay for it, implement, and run it. Now to a problem. Judging from an expansion error I get: "nothing provides cmake >= 2.4.3, nothing provides debhelper >= 4, nothing provides dpatch, nothing provides gcc >= 3.3.5, nothing provides gettext, nothing provides libart-2.0-dev, nothing provides libcupsys2-dev, nothing provides liblcms1-dev >= 1.13, nothing provides libqt3-mt-dev >= 3.3.4, nothing provides libtiff4-dev, nothing provides libxml2-dev >= 2.6.16, nothing provides python-all-dev, nothing provides zlib1g-dev, nothing provides autoconf, nothing provides automake, nothing provides binutils, nothing provides bzip2, nothing provides gcc, nothing provides libc6, nothing provides libtool, nothing provides libncurses5, nothing provides perl, nothing provides zlib1g, nothing provides dpkg" on Ubuntu/Feisty it seems that this image is completely broken as in unable to install any build-depends at all. Would one of the admins be so kind to look into it? Hi, nagios build fails under "home:rhomann" but builds fine under "home:computersalat" Can anyone explain why ? |+ exec rpmbuild -ba --eval '%define _srcdefattr (-,root,root)' --eval %suse_insert_debug_package /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/nagios-plugins.spec error: Package already exists: %package debuginfo how may I fix this ? [opensuse-buildservice] openSUSE_Factory builds against outdated rpmlint-mini?

Hi, while investigating rpmlint related bugreports I've noticed that openSUSE:Factory based repositories build against rpmlint-mini-1.0-128, while the current version is 1.0-167. it seems to really build against that old version as the build fails for some packages due to bugs/broken checks that are already fixed. Any idea? Hello everyone, Would it be possible to get the following packages added to the Ubuntu/Debian repositories? [opensuse-buildservice] Request for integrating several packages into Factory

Hi All, I would like to integrate several packages available on third-party repositories into openSUSE Factory. I plan to start small, then grow. This will allow good Quality Control, from both me, community, and Novell. I think this is preferable to building big repository of several dozens packages then submitting all-at-once. [opensuse-buildservice] osc submitreq tries to send a submission to the wrong project

Yo I'm trying to use osc branch and osc submitreq and am running into problems. osc branch appears to do the right thing: osc branch openSUSE:Factory <gnome package> tells me that <gnome package>'s development happens in GNOME:Factory, and I end up with home:maw:branches:GNOME:Factory/<gnome package>, just as expected. I change and commit <gnome package>. When I do a submitreq , and then try to do a submitreq, I see the following: Sorry, but a different project, GNOME:UNSTABLE, is defined as the place where development of the package gconf2 primarily takes place. Please submit there instead, or use --nodevelproject to force direct submission. Exactly what I did is in the attachment. Now, GNOME:UNSTABLE was where development took place, until a few days ago. I made what I believe were the adequate and correct changes in the internal pdb to change this, and the fact that osc branch works correctly implies that I did. So, what's the deal? Is there anything I missed? Thanks, Michael.
