[opensuse-buildservice] Scripting encryption (little bit offtopic)

Hello, sorry for asking that question here, but I have no better place. I need an encrypted backup file. I used gpg to make this file. As gpg for idiotic reasons does not allow passwords in commandline (I know, I must be protected against myself) I used expect to do this job. This failed for openSUSE 10.3 due to the pinentry program changes. Now I adapted the code and it works from a normal shell opened in KDE. Still I get no result, when run as cron job. Can anyone help me. I know I need not ask gpg guys, as they will tell me, what I do is evil. Is there another way to get a password protect TAR.GZ file? I used mcrypt in the past, but this is no longer developed and has security holes. [opensuse-buildservice] Connection between build service and bugzilla

Hi, I'm missing a connection between buildservice and bugzilla. For example, there is no way to see open bugs for a specific buildservice project/package. I would like to have something like this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/zope3/ which is linked from https://launchpad.net/zope3/ and shows bugs associated with that project. [opensuse-buildservice] Cannot get gpg keys from BS.

Hello, I am trying to build some of the projects in my home:gerberb Verifying integrity of cached packages The following package could not be verified: /var/tmp/osbuild-packagecache/home:gerberb/openSUSE_10.3/i586/python-pydns-2.3.0-8.1.i586.rpm: (SHA1) DSA sha1 md5 (GPG) NOT OK (MISSING KEYS: GPG#d986a842) - If the key is missing, install it first. For example, do the following: gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys d986a842 gpg --armor --export d986a842 > /home/gerberb/keyfile-d986a842 and, as root: rpm --import /home/gerberb/keyfile-d986a842 Then, just start the build again. This is what I get... gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys d986a842 gpg: requesting key D986A842 from hkp server pgp.mit.edu gpgkeys: key D986A842 not found on keyserver gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found. gpg: Total number processed: 0 What can be done? [opensuse-buildservice] Newbie: just wishing to compile

Hello folks! I'm new to the build service. I have an apple PPC laptop with OpenSuse 10.3 and I just wish to compile packages fromthe build services that are already there only for the intel platforms. Do I need to start a new projet of my own each time or can I use the existing ones? I don't think I need to rewrite my own specs from scratch... Thanks for any help, luciano. -- /"\ /Via A. [opensuse-buildservice] Using OBS from svn trunc with rails 2.0

Hi, I have successfully build and installed a new OBS version from svn trunc -r 3189, with all the rails 2.0 packages installed . The resulting OBS server works correctly, and can be used by the webclient. But I cannot control this with osc command line client anymore. osc reports errors for all its commands. I have reported a bug in bugzilla for this https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=366405. Has anybody else seens this? [opensuse-buildservice] Mandriva 2008 added / 2007 fixed

Hi, I added Mandriva 2008 due to request. Build is possible for i586 and x86_64 architectures. Mandriva 2007 x86_64 build got fixed as well.
