All my .debs fail to build with the following error for package bleachbit in project home:andrew_z. Because it happens so early, I think the error may be the OBS and not my sources? I do have a file bleachbit.dsc. Earlier I was able to build most distro's .debs, but they were empty. [opensuse-buildservice] little patch for osc rprjresults filter option

Hi all, Does anyone know if there's any documentation on any changes to the .desktop file format in 11.1? I have an RPM that builds fine in the Build Service for target openSuSE 11.0, but I'm getting these errors for target openSuSE 11.1: ERROR: No sufficient Category definition: /var/tmp/btnx-config-0.4.9-build//usr/share/applications/btnx-config.desktop ERROR: translation is neither enabled nor disabled for this file: /var/tmp/btnx-config-0.4.9-build//usr/share/applications/btnx-config.desktop I was told by someone on the #suse IRC channel that there are extra checks in OBS for the 11.1 target... [opensuse-buildservice] Bug in branch creation.

If a user tries to create a branch and has not created their home project, then the branch creation will fail with a permission error because only home:#{self.login} is special cased in can_create_project? and not home:#{self.login} and all subprojects of it. If home:#{self.login} is created before creating a subproject this isn't a problem because of has_local_permission? walking up the tree until it find a project where the user has a role, but without home:#{self.login} existing, the walk of the tree will hit 'home' when looking for permissions and only Admins will have permissions there. I've attached a patch so the special case is extended to home:#{self.login} or any subproject of it. This may be fixed in the newer code or a different location in the code, I've only checked https://forgesvn1.novell.com/svn/opensuse/trunk/buildservice/src/frontend/a… and it looks the same as the 1.0 stuff I'm running.

[opensuse-buildservice] openSUSE: OBS 1.5 feature complete + openSUSE 11.1 released today

Hi, Marcus, Andreas and me were the last for this year :) We had good timing in putting in the susetags support for download on demand today into OBS subversion repo. I also had a new test object for this: the freshly released openSUSE 11.1 - it works. Now also with the download redirector. So don't care about changing mirror servers also here anymore. OBS 1.5 feature complete, openSUSE 11.1 released and build with OBS => great! I will soon put new obs packages into openSUSE:Tools:Devel/obs-all-svn Good timing. [opensuse-buildservice] Permission to Create New Projects

Hi, I would like to know how I can gain access to the build service to be able to establish an open-NAS project based on OpenSuse. I have been a pioneer in the NAS space for a number of years and was CTO for Snap Appliance. My currently company has been using suse infrastructure since our inception and I'd like to be able to take some of our work and make it public.
