Good day! I've recently updated my local Build Service to openSuSE 11.0 with a production environment. Live Log Refreshing is not working and I can't see my packages files on the webclient. [opensuse-buildservice] Howto change the download URL in local OBS

Hi, I connect to my local OBS with an alias. But if I try to download a compiled file, the browser tries to download it from: 127.0.42.2 My idea was changing production_slave.rb:FRONTEND_HOST = "127.0.42.2" But after I changed the value, OBS frontend stopped working. [opensuse-buildservice] i586 builds no longer active?

Hi I'm wondering what happened to i586 builds. According to the Server Status webpage (https://build.opensuse.org/monitor) most x86_64 machines (I think they can also build for i586) are idle, but more than 6000 packages are waiting to be built for i586. Some of my packages are now scheduled since more than a day for i586. :-( Any idea? Known issue? Hello, I have been trying to use osc and all I get is Server returned an error: HTTP Error 403: Forbidden But I am able to login using the web api. Any ideas on what has happened? Hi, bs_sched reports missing files: looking at low prio SLES10:SP2/standard (0/0/2/0/4) - SLES10:SP2/standard packages found: 2122 (hits: 2115, misses: 7) expanding dependencies sorting 0 packages building: 0, notready: 0 took 0 seconds to check the packages leaf prp, freeing data With this patch I tried to get bs_sched more verbose. I don' t know if the patch reports the correct files, because the reported files exists. [opensuse-buildservice] newbie package builder

Hi, I am trying to build a package for Yorick, a scientific interpreted language, for opensuse. I am new to this. I started by reading the build service tutorial: http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service. From there, it seems like a good idea to build the package locally first, using the 'build' tool. Thus I went to: http://en.opensuse.org/SUSE_Build_Tutorial. However, it seems this tutorial is rather vague, and does not consist of actual steps with specific instructions of what to type in / do. It gets really bad in 2.2: configure build. It even tells one to do "and things like that." So I'm confused. Is there a better guide available? If so, it should be mentioned on the build tutorial page. If this tutorial is simply still a work in progress, I'm happy to try improving it. Perhaps I misunderstand the workflow. Am I supposed to configure the build environment at the command prompt, or is this done automatically by commands inside the rpm .spec file? The following files have references to opensuse.org /srv/www/obs/webclient/app/views/layouts/application2.rhtml /srv/www/obs/webclient/public/css/local/contentadd_style.css /srv/www/obs/webclient/public/css/local/style.css I attached a small patch for application2.rhtml, to change the web links to local pathes. Note: The iehacks_opensuse.css is different from the version of static.opensuse.org. Hi, I work on Java:jpackage-5.0 project and have troubles with xml-commons-* packages. It seems, that OBS prefers a xml-commons packages from openSUSE: {11.0,Factory}. But I don't know why. The Java:jpackage currently contains: - jpackage-utils - ant-bootstrap - xalan-j2-bootstrap - xml-commons (version* 0:1.3.04) The distribution contains a same packages with version number 1.3.02. But without something like that in spec (see xerces-j2-bootstrap): %if ! %defined suse_version BuildRequires: xml-commons-resolver >= 0:1.1 BuildRequires: xml-commons-apis >= 0:1.3 %else BuildRequires: xml-commons-resolver12 BuildRequires: xml-commons-jaxp-1.3-apis %endif obuild always install a versions from openSUSE:. [opensuse-buildservice] Fund raising for US buildservice mirror

Hi, unixheads.org operates a mirror in the US which hosts the buildservice repositories. It is the only buildservice mirror in the Americas. Unfortunately, it lacks resources and struggles to continue mirroring us. The operator tries to raise a fund for new hardware. And this is a opportunity that I would like to point out. [opensuse-buildservice] submitting a package that doesn't exist yet in the target project

Hi, I'm trying to submit obs-server to factory, which doesn't exist there yet. This is what I get: $ osc submitreq create openSUSE:Tools obs-server openSUSE:Factory --message="the latest obs for the sdk, fate #303298" Server returned an error: HTTP Error 404: Not Found Error getting meta for project 'openSUSE:Factory' package 'obs-server' Unknown package 'obs-server' So how can I achieve what I mean?
