[opensuse-buildservice] Remove gramps-2.2.6 from home:rbos repository

Can someone please remove gramps with the version 2.2.6 from my home:rbos repository? http://ftp5.gwdg.de/pub/opensuse/repositories/home:/rbos/openSUSE_10.2/repo… The package is available in most archives openSUSE_10.2 i586 openSUSE_10.2 x86_64 openSUSE_Factory i586 openSUSE_Factory x86_64 SL-10.0_i586 i586 SL-10.0_x86_64 x86_64 SL-10.1_i586 i586 SL-10.1_x86_64 x86_64 SLE_10 i586 SLE_10 x86_64 The problem is that I now build the package for the noarch architecture and it seems that the build server does not see this change. Therefor the newer gramps packages can be found in the noarch directory and the older version is left on the BS as well. That's the server part. On the client part it seems that yast does not consider the 2.2.8@noarch version newer than the 2.2.6@i586 version. I don't know the details, but this seems to be more or less the problem. Hi there, I was under the impression that if a file called {distro}- {package}.dsc existed, then it would be used in preference to {package}.dsc Is this still the case? Hi, I finished my first debian package and noticed, that no source packages are uploaded. There should be an *.orig,tar.gz, a *.diff.gz and the *.dsc file, like the src.rpm for rpm based distributions. What's wrong here? [opensuse-buildservice] libaio and header files

Hi, I hope this is the right mailing list for asking this question. I am using SuSe 10.2 and the distribution has the library libaio.a and libaio.h header files. I downloaded glibc 2.4 and 2.5 and searched for libaio.h file but didnt find it there. Can any one point me to the source of these files? I understand that the libaio.a file gets generated when the library is build. Which library contains these files? I need to generate the library for a different architecture. Hi, I've followed the instructions of darix and AdrianS in the IRC. I've read the extra instructions here: http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/Deb_builds But instead of reading the .dsc files the debian and the ubuntu targets insist in reading the .spec file and producing a .src.rpm file. What can I do? I want to reuse my kdevelop.tar.bz2 file for both .debs and rpms. PS. I've got a spec file (not on build.opensuse.org, though), that has the following syntax: %{?_with_foo:BuildRequires: foo} With a non-buildservice RPM build, this means that if the macro '_with_foo' is defined, 'foo' is a build requirement. It's a useful syntax; I have to provide a source RPM that can give the user customization options by re-compiling the srpm with various "--with foo" options (or to negate defaults by using "--without foo".) What I'm seeing is the following when I try to build the package using the buildservice: %{_with_foo} is set in the spec file as the default (so RPM sees "BuildRequires: foo") rpmbuild evaluates the statement properly: it requires package 'foo' as a requirement for compilation. The problem is that OBS isn't installing the 'foo' package before starting rpmbuild. When rpmbuild checks that its buildrequires are satisfied, it isn't finding 'foo', and the compile aborts. Obviously, a workaround is to use the %if 0%{?obensuse_bs} # bs-specific part here %endif syntax.
