Good day!
It seems weird but my init script is not creating the pid file.
Here is the code:
"...
PID_FILE=/var/run/service.pid
...
case "$1" in
start)
echo -n "Starting Service daemon "
## Start daemon with startproc(8). If this fails
## the return value is set appropriately by startproc.
startproc -l $LOG_FILE -p $PID_FILE $SERVICE_BIN -f /etc/configs
# Remember status and be verbose
rc_status -v
;;
..."
Any ideias?

Hi,
I just saved a proposal about a "Personal Message Dispatching"
system with codename Hermes that could be implemented in the
buildservice. It helps to organize the upcoming information
flood if notifications start in the BS.
Please let me know what you think, read here:
http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/Concepts/Notification
Thanks,
Klaas

Dear all,
When I search the "novell-ipsec-tools" in
https://build.opensuse.org/main/search_result
there are 2 results.
novell-ipsec-tools (project home:rguenther:playground)
novell-ipsec-tools (project openSUSE:Factory)
I wanna know what's the difference, and when I'll update the package,
which one should be change or all?

Sincerely Yours,

Dear managers,
is it possible to include a repository of SLES9 Service Pack3 ?
The SLES9/standard is getting bit outdated, I'm afraid.

Hi,
maybe I missed something, but the build status seems a bit odd to me:
102 of 110 hosts idle and none of my triggered rebuilds takes places.
Could someone please look into that ?
Thanks,
T/Christof

Hallo.
In GNOME:STABLE we have updated metacity and we need to negate global
10.2 rule:
Substitute: metacity-devel metacity
"Substitute: !metacity-devel" did not help and build still rewrites
metacity-devel to metacity.
I am just now going to use a work-around proposed by darix:
Substitute: metacity-devel metacity-devel
Is it possible to fix https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=332132
in the same script as well?

Hi,
is there currently a problem with applying a patch to
a linked package? The webclient simply states: "broken: could not
apply patch 'cyrus-imapd-kolab-testing.spec.diff'". Is it possbible
to see where it fails? (I can't find any information in the buildlog).
It's a very easy patch (I just changed it for testing) and locally it
works without any problems.
Project: server:Kolab
Package: cyrus-imapd-kolab-testing
