Hi, I don't know if this is the correct list where I should ask my question.
First of all thank you for package a lot of emulators into a reposiitory of
the buildservice.
I noticed that emulator gambatte has no package for x86, but there's a package
for x86_64 and a source rpm. Why?
King Regards,
Raúl

Thank you for your answer. Were certainly talking about Linux which
contrary to popular belief can be seriously compromised (leave your ssh
port open just for fun ;) ).
In my opinion a great deal of Linux security succes is that users don't
install software from all over the internet but download them from
trusted repositories where the software is checked and md5summed by it's
maintainers.
Since openSUSE 10.3 and the '1-Click Install service it's impossible to
tell if the software come from an trusted sources if openSUSE doesn't
have some kind of security measures.
And indeed while virussen aren't a problem for Linux, rootkits certainly
are. See also: http://www.linuxsecurity.com/content/view/127202/171/

Hi,
Does anybody know the SystemC license:
http://www.systemc.org/about/org_docs/license/
and can tell me whether I can build this package with the build service?
The licenses is not listed at:
http://www.opensource.org/licenses/alphabetical
What licenses are allowed to host software with the build service?
Thanks for the help.
Cheers,
Guenter

* removal of End-Of-Life Distribution policy
We had some discussion how to do the removal of distributions, which ran
End-Of-Life in future. Policy for the future was to
- remove all built repositories against base repo in all projects
- move base distribution project to DISCONTINUED:<OLD_NAME>
- make sure that base repo is not accessable in build.o.o and
software.o.o
So packagers can re-add the repos, but it should be clear that running such
distros is risky and not supported.

Hi!
I noticed, that it is not possible any more (in some cases) to create
new projects. It fails with Forbiden code (not visible in osc without
-H or in the web page).
I'd like to create two projects to build avira.com product packages
(antivir, dazuko, ...). One as a regular project, one for testing.
I'd like to name the regular project 'avira', e.g. as a subproject
of 'security' ('security:avira').
How and where can I create them? Another ideas for the project names?

Hi,
Problem with adding a SLES_9 repo.
adding a SLES_9 repository does work, but YAST does'nt see any of the
packages.
I'm missing "directory.yast", isn't it.
or should I do anything special that I can use obs-repos with my SLES_9.
Thanks for your help
Kind Regards
Chris
