Hi there,
is it currently possible to get the opensuse-buildservice running on
an independant local machine? We've spent the better part of the
day to get things up and running, but currently there's no way to log
into the User-Interface.
So is it possible at all? Or did I waste my time ...
Bye,
Marcel
PS: The reason why we need our own server are possible licensing
problems of some packages.

The openSUSE Build Service is located in Germany, but inside of a Novell
company (SUSE), which is a US company, so we are under the US law.

I am trying to add a few packages to the SLE:SDK:Extras repository,
and would prefer to just link to the ones that exist in OpenSUSE 10.1,
but It seems as if this is not possible.
Am I missing something?

You can't agree with what? Specifically?

IRC is not accessible from here, so the idea with a bot also would ot work.

I understand.
But then CIA sounds like a good option for you (unless I am mistaking
something), because other than providing RSS it can also send mails.
Or not?

Hi,
I'm using the build service to build KDevelop
http://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=KDevelop3&project=home%3Aami…
It worked fine yesterday, but today I get:
/etc/opt/kde3/common_options: No such file or directory
for SuSE repositories
and:
configure: error: The important program kde-config was not found!
for mandriva.
What am I doing wrong ?

Hi, all.
I'd like to join the build service as a packager. However, I've encountered
some server errors when enabling my account after login. It is
the submit button on page
http://build.opensuse.org/user/request_ichainthat always takes me to a
500 Internal Server Error page. Tried several
times from 8.am to 10 pm with no success.
I wonder if someone knows when the server will be ok? or any advice?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Thruth

Hi,
why is -g removed from optflags within the buildservice?
This broke my debuginfo packages silently :-(
Can I expect it back sometime soon or do I have to tweak the spec?
