Oh great! Thanks! :) Is there a similar document explaining the other folders in the repositories? Got a couple more questions about the repository layout, actually. :) For instance I find "Apache" and "Apache:"; and there's "Kernel" and "Kernel:". How come there are two sets of similarly named folders (with different content)? Also, I find folders for "Archiving:" and "editors" and "Banshee" and so on -- am I supposed to go through each and add them individually as a repo, or is there a single repo or something which sort of includes all these? Why are they classified like these into categories, in the first place? Do I need to add them, or are these just the software that was already installed on my system? Kind of confused actually ... Hi, I find different names used for factory build targets. SUSE_Factory SUSE_Linux_Factory Which one is "better"? Also, I find two different factory projects: SUSE:Factory openSUSE:Factory Are both valid, and what would be the difference? [opensuse-buildservice] osc on SUSE 9.3 (missing python packages)

Hi! Has anyone a quick hint for me how to get osc running on SUSE 9.3? I tried with the RPMs from the openSUSE:Tools project, but it won't work because python-elementtree is not available for 9.3 (at least I couldn't find it). After installing the osc package with --nodeps and manually installing the Elementtree Python extension, a sub-feature called cElementTree seems to be still missing: > osc Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/osc", line 6, in ? from osc import commandline File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/osc/commandline.py", line 9, in ? from core import * File "/usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/osc/core.py", line 15, in ? import cElementTree as ET ImportError: No module named cElementTree Did anyone succeed with that? Hi, I'm sorry if this has been asked before. I did do a check through the archives and find a thread (http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-buildservice/2006-11/msg00077.ht…) that mentions my question. But it was kind of confusing to a beginner like me, and so I decided to ask the question here. What is the difference between the Community, Stable, and Unstable repos in "http://repos.opensuse.org/GNOME:/";? I am currently using openSUSE 10.2 with GNOME as my default desktop, and was wondering which of these I should be using ... [opensuse-buildservice] original Java packages for SuLi 10.0?

Hi! First of all: sorry if this is a FAQ, but I think I browsed through the relevant Wiki-pages and the list archive w/o seeing any answer... I'd like to build a Java-using package (ProjectX) in the build service using the original Java packages from SUSE 10.0 (not the Java 5 version from the "Java:Sun-Java-1.5" project). Is there anything I could add to my home project to get the equivalence of /opensuse/distribution/SL-10.0-OSS/inst-source-java/ into my build project? Hi, the openSUSE 10.2 is usable now for building packages against it. Use the "SUSE:10.2/standard" repository for doing this.
