[opensuse-buildservice] .repo files usable in Yast / Zmd / <whatever tool>

hi, I was just wondering (and after looking around did not find a good clue... but I might have missed it): Can these .repo files, that can also be found on the BuildService (like http://repos.opensuse.org/home:/dimstar/SUSE_Linux_10.0/home:dimstar.repo) be used with some specific programs? Like Yast or ZMD to add a catalog? If so, then we should think about giving it a correct mimetype, different to text/plain, so that browsers can recognize it and forward it to an application that can read it. This would allow to create a linklist to Repos where user could easily subscribe. If not: why not? Dominique

[opensuse-buildservice] enigmail not compatible with Thunderbird 2.0b1

Hi! Having installed Thunderbird 2.0b1 from the openbuild tree if found enigmail being broken. This add-on currently sup- ports Thunderbird versions up to 2.0a1. This means, I can- not read even my own archied eMails until there is a new release of enigmail. I'm pretty confident that this will happen sooner or later. I'm just curious, if I could have avoided this conflict? [opensuse-buildservice] Mandriva 2006: %post(ghostscript-fonts-8.11-4mdk.noarch) scriptlet failed

Hello, when building my fontlinge-QA package (in home:cboltz), I get the following error on Mandriva 2006: installing ghostscript-fonts-8.11-4mdk error: %post(ghostscript-fonts-8.11-4mdk.noarch) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 Any ideas what could be wrong and/or how I can fix it? And in plus, the number has not to be 100% accurate (which no statistic ever was!) but give an idea of what is needed and what was a waste of time and would be a waste of time to continue maintaining. Hi, I've build several programms for electronic development in home:werner2101. I'd like to move the stable programms to a new project. I've used the Group "Productivity/Scientific/Electronics" in the spec files. Any hints which project name should be used and who can create it? Hi everybody, I think it would be a nice and nifty feature to get somewhat like a statistic, how many times (in specific timeframes) some specific RPMs have been downloaded. This could help also to put priorities for RPM Maintainers and also allow to decide what people seem to like / request most. Suggestions are welcome.... if any Dominique

[opensuse-buildservice] iChain works for you?

Hi, we have iChain running for a couple of days now as the authentication system for the buildservice. I might have missed something on other communication channels, but there was only a little feedback on the switch to iChain. I assume that everything works so far for everybody. Here is link: http://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=oo2-voikko&project=home%3Afi… SUSE_Factory says: expansion error: nothing provides OpenOffice_org-sdk, nothing provides libpython2.4.so.1.0()(64bit) needed by OpenOffice_org Is there going to be i586 or x86_64 OpenOffice in 10.2? Why there isn't sdk-packages for factory on x86_64 or 10.0 or 10.1 on i586?
