Hi, the machinery team uses pull requests for doing code refactoring. Have a look to: http://tech.lovewithfood.com/blog/2014/09/04/refactoring-in-code-review-my-… About 80 percent of my pull requests are commented with suggestions how to improve the code and every time I am thinking on my own: "Hey, nice, but why have you not already changed it immediately in my pull request?" >From my point of view I would really appreciate if the person who reviews my pull requests would also change the code at once if he/she see any improvements. So the reviewer does not have to ask for permissions. Just do it. ;-) Sure, I would have to test the changed code again. But that is not really a problem:-) What do you think ? [yast-devel] Brainstorming about the services UI

Lukas and myself were talking about resurrecting the "better UI for services" initiative that got somehow stuck with the Christmas holidays and we both think that is a perfect use case to test drive the brainstorming sessions initiative we discussed in this mailing list. Let's find a time slot for a Google Hangout next week. The goal of the meeting would be to choose one of the two alternatives described here, or to come up with a third one agreed by everybody. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TQO-bdqagSOUssGqJsf3eEeMDh2w40BujdOFP9-… - Ken should be there. He cannot make it before Tuesday. - I'd like to be there, Tuesday is public holiday in my city. - Josef was quite active on the thread. [yast-devel] save_y2logs store also generated files?

Hi developers, Raymund Will bring idea that it would be quite helpful if save_y2logs also store files that is generated by yast2 like bootloader config files, sysconfig files and other files that is written by yast as these config files are quite small and can help with debugging stuff and also it is helps if problem is in underlaying software, then we can easily point to configuration file that we think is correct and such software do not act as we expect. What do you think about this idea? I think if we decide to do, then do it also in SP4 as it can help with debugging issues.
