[yast-devel] SLE11 YaST2 firstboot questions

Hi all, I have a couple of questions as we are now beginning work on SLE 11 preloads. How does one enable the nice installer theme for yast2-firstboot? I'm really hoping this is possible, since the yast2 installer theme is so uber cool. Second question, is it possible two display two license agreements on the same step of the firstboot workflow? This is how another operating system does it, and it is a huge request of our OEM partners. I'm sure it is possible with a code change, if so which module needs updating? If it is just a config change in firstboot.xml, anyone know of an example? Hi Hackers, some eye-candy for Christmas! A tiny new ycp builtin named isempty for string, list and map (in yast2-core 2.18.0). If somebody wants it for path, term or byteblock just let me know. Beware: 'isempty(x)' is not equal to 'size(x) == 0'. The latter behaves different for 'x = nil' depending on the type of x. [yast-devel] New branch SuSE-Code-11-Branch has been just created

Hi, I've just created a new *SuSE-Code-11-Branch* [1]. Please, use this branch for fixes for openSUSE 11.1 and SLE 11. We'll branch 11.1 when it is needed. The current *trunk* [2] should be used for upstream, e.g. openSUSE 11.2. Of course, fixes for SuSE-Code-11-Branch should go to trunk too (if applicable) [3]. Have a lot of fun! Hi hackers, BEGIN RULES - trunk will be for 11.2, and I create http://svn.opensuse.org/svn/yast/branches/SuSE-Code-11-Branch/ (in 1 hour, at 14:00 CET, so that this does not catch you completely surprised) - Code-11 will be a "side-trunk", the place of (cautious) development for SLE11 and its service packs. That is, in sequence, the following branches will be created from Code-11, to maintain updates that are diverging or backported from Code-11: SuSE-Linux-11_1-Branch SuSE-SLE-11-Branch SuSE-SLE-11-SP1-Branch SuSE-SLE-11-SP2-Branch Code-11 versions will have 3 components, 2.17.*, and all the other branches will bear 2.17.*.* It differs from the Code 10 concept in simplifying the decision where to commit: * Committing to a branch means a maintenance update. * Committing to Code-11 (side-trunk) means development/fixes scheduled for later. END RULES Compare to Code 10 ( http://en.opensuse.org/index.php?title=YaST/Development/SVN_branches&oldid=… ) where *-SPx-Branch is once a place of development and then becomes maintenance. present: mantel, schubi, dmacvicar, aschnell, sh, shaas, snwint, tgoettlicher, ma, jdsn, aorlovskyy absent: gs (vacation) minutes: dmacvicar - 11.1 bug which produced duplicate ids was due to image installation (images contained ids already). coolo found the cause of the bug. - YaST branching. Still no agreement. Editor notes: It seems there is now agreement on creating at least one branch for now. - YaST-Qt package selector speed regression debugged by mls and dmacvicar QAbstractViewItem::scheduleDelayedItemsLayout() solved the problem and it is reasonable fast did not make it into 11.1 gm, but online update for it is on the way. Please, use check_ycp to find strings that are not marked ("_(...)) for translation and mark them accordingly. This is causing quite some bug entries... I'd also appreciate if you'd create a list of false positives. [yast-devel] YaST module for openais/pacemaker available

Hi all, A new YaST module for openais/pacemaker is just checked into the SVN server. Thanks Michal btw. ;) Currently, this YaST module parses /etc/ais/openais.conf, presents a step-by-step wizard for first run administrator, and helps to setup basic configuration for node to join into a openais/packmaker based cluster. I hope it's helpful to everyone who want to try the new cluster solution in openSUSE 11.1.
