Hi, you will see shortly some newly generated packages in your repository YaST:Head. Those are links to packages in openSUSE:Factory and are disabled for build. Hi, I have added a short article to the wiki regarding the usage of text-mode YaST, see http://en.opensuse.org/YaST/Tips#Using_YaST_in_text_mode. >From time to time a question about not working key navigation pops up, e.g. pressing TAB/Shift TAB to go forward/backward doesn't work. The article provides the link to the openSUSE documentation (section 'YaST in Text Mode') where a detailed description of key navigation, restrictions and substitutions is available. It also mentions the possibility of table sorting upon Ctrl 'o' which is improved recently (esp. for the ncurses Package Selector). Please submit your packages to YaST:Head so that we are ready to move to automake-1.11. [yast-devel] Permission granularity for webyast modules

During developing my webyast modules I find, that using dbus and my YaPI quite increase amount of webyast policykit permissions. Is there any policy how detailed should be that permissions? E.g. if I have language module and for each expected features (language, utf8 and root locale) has getter and setter and getter for language list in YaPI it is 7 permissions in policy-kit. Hello mates, i've added the following Lines to /etc/sysconfig/yast2: ## Type: string(close,restart,summary) ## Default: "close" # This value sets the behavior after the installation in yast is # is finished. # If set "close" the Package Manager closes after installation. # If set "restart" restarts the Package Manager after installation. # If set "summary" you see an dialog with finish (close) the Manager # or back, that brings you on the start of the Package Manager. PKGMGR_ACTION_AT_EXIT="restart" But the Software Modul exits after the Installation. Hi, I get the message "Error: Plugin services does private routing" after "Registering plugin resources". It is because the plugin has the file config/routes.rb. Why is it an error, and how to fix it? [yast-devel] Yast webclient - template helpers (translations, output formatters)

Hi, Another thing I noticed is that the webclient plugins do not use any shared code for generating HTML output or for translations. I defined some helpers in web-client/webclient/app/helpers/application_helper.rb file. These helpers are automatically available in all webclient templates. There is e.g. 'delete' => _("Delete") helper, and more should be added. The translators will translate the common texts just once not per plugin package. Moreover I added 'simple_table' helper for generating overview table (optionally with Add/Edit/Delete links), it's already used in samba_server plugin. It's not a generic function for creating any table layout, but for major yast overview dialogs it should be sufficient. I wanted to define some namespaces for the helpers, like Label for delete, but I failed. Rails could not find the functions in the namespace, any idea why? (I can send a patch if needed...) Again, we should share as much code as possible.
