What is the proper way of aligning form elements in webYaST? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -------------- Dialog elements in a form are aligned via css. Dialog elements belonging to each other are surrounded by <fieldset>. You may give a fieldset an id and and a class for further use. If you want to use headlines in a form, use <fieldset>. Form elements are separated by putting each form element into a single paragraph. The description of a form element, which is shown on the left side later, is surrounded by <label> In order to allow the user to activate an input field by clicking on the form element description the "label for" and the text field tag/ form id have to be identical. Hi, I finally configured hudson to create on-fly documenation for webyast. I allow it only for head package, as head and 11.1 sources is now same. So for fresh documentation see: (internal only) http://yast.suse.de:3334/view/webyast/job/webyast-service-head-i586/javadoc/ http://yast.suse.de:3334/view/webyast/job/webyast-client-head-i586/javadoc/ It is generated only after success build, so if hudson is broken, documentation is not generated ( reason why now client doesn't have documentation ). Hi, since appliances run client and server on the same host, there's no need for a host selector. So WebYaST will connect to localhost by default. If you need the host selector, just navigate to "/session/new". Hi, revision 116 of yast2-webclient in OBS defaults to https now. Its using a simple, self-generated certificate (webyast.pem) which should be changed to something more trustworthy before release. Hi all, I liked much of the YaST LDAP setup (particularly adding new users through the same UI as adding local users), but overall it did take a while to get set up. Here are a few simple things that might make it easier (sorry I'm not a YaST developer), * undo the wizard if it fails to start the daemon. Otherwise, the root objects will not get created (this step happens after it tries to start the daemon), leading to many confusing errors. * make sure user "ldap" can read the certificate files, or else the daemon will not start (error above) if the "slp dameon" box is enabled. * allow the client to import self-signed certificate files. [yast-devel] merge config files

Hi yast hackers, I'm trying to solve following problem: - in 1st stage of installation there's simplified /etc/sysconfig/network/config - I need to modify it and copy into installed system - in installed system there's network/config file with more options - I can't just copy it but somehow merge (just add new or modify existing options) Of course I can write my own code for this but better I'm asking to not invent wheel again Any idea?
