Hello, is this module working with openSUSE 10.3 ? I have no chance to configure a mail Server ? When I configure ldap / DNS handy and like to start this Module I can't contact the ldap server (init) ? Is any missing in yast-mail-plugins ? -- mit freundlichen Grüssen / best Regards Günther J. Of course, editing the sysconfig file is still faster if you know where and how to change the configuration. Hi, During the YaST workshop last week, we have decided to use the current #yast channel at irc.freenode.net as our official one. In a few days, you will be able to find most of internal YaST developers there - and I hope, more and more external as well :) How to talk with YaST developers online? * Install some IRC client and run it... * Use these settings: /server irc.freenode.net /join #yast We still don't have any "YaST IRC Client" ;) Not yet! Hey Guys, is there anyone working to add features\switches for options to the DNS server module? My thoughts where that all these options > http://www.daemon-systems.org/man/named.conf.5.html should be available in the module by: choosing an options tab (this shows the default options in grey, but editable) > choosing an "advanced" button (which shows a check box or drop down list of all the above options) > choosing an option typing in the value for that option > then choose an add button which moves it to the bottom of the list shown as defaults. [yast-devel] YaST invisible modules

Hi all! In order to write some default settings, we have written some YaST modules that have no UI but set some configuration. We called them "invisible modules" for this reason, and use them during the installation process at the Linkat distribution. Linkat is NL9 based distribution and will be a SLED10 based distribution. Hi, As you probably know, we've added a new yast2-sshd package that configures the sshd daemon to the openSUSE 10.3. http://benjiweber.co.uk:8080/webpin/index.jsp?searchTerm=yast2-sshd&distro=… This module was started as an exemplary YaST module for YaST tutorial http://forgeftp.novell.com/yast/doc/SL10.3/tutorials/t1.html Now it seems the the openSUSE community would like to have it extended. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=333655 ...but isn't that the best way for the community to learn more about YaST, about the powerful features we currently offer? Isn't that great that to community already has all pieces to change YaST to do what they exactly want? That's why I'm writing this mail. I'd like to encourage $you, even if you aren't an experienced developer, don't you want to learn more, don't you want to try it?
