I'm running an ASUS A8N-Deluxe No problems to report. It fired right up, recognized all of it's devices, and is running reliably. I dled and installed aMule. Now I can't find it. Have searched with YAST but nothing returns. Suggestion as to were to find it? TIA

9.2 ftp installation

Hi all, please be kind with YANQ - yet nother newbe question .. I've installed several Suse Linux Versions form CD/DVD succesfully in the past, (6.x, 7.y, 8.1..) but now I'm puzzled with installation from ftp: I've downloaded the 9.2 boot.iso, burned it on a CD. - fine, The machine boots, - fine. I can configure my network card and so on, BUT ------> I don't enter the internet with the network card but with a modem (56k :-), makes fun in these days...) Normally, from a running system, I start up the thing with the usual scripts (/etc/sys...../../ifup-ppp ...and so on), then do ftp blablabla, but this is not possible during the installation, as no option for it is to be found in the installation dialogues. Additionally, I'm asked for an IP adress of the ftp server, but so far only now the name adresses (ftp.suse.com/pub/suse...) ... Any help form the experts to sort this out is greatly appreciated !! -Carsten

9.3 Live CD Keyboard/Mouse issues

I have a weird issue that everything works fine besides my keyboard and mouse. When it boots up there is no keyboard or mouse support. I can get the keyboard to work if I boot in single user and they goto multi-user, but still the mouse doesn't work. They are both USB wireless (some microsoft multimedia type). Work fine on SuSe 9.1 which I run now. SuSe 9.2 doesn't startup at all on my configuration (Tyan dual Opteron board with 8gb memory). Any ideas? Will a normal install still work?
