Well I have this one (NEO2 platinum 54G) and at the start it was not fun at all but later an update DVD for 64bit was made available that cured the SATA issue: only the 2 first devices was available ... out of the four.

From what I've heard and read .... the Gigabyte card whould be one of the

better ones YMMV.

But hit the lists with a google on "suse list motherboard" then you'd get more views on that.

www.linuxhardware.org isn't a bad place to look around either ;-)

I will put in 1 gig of ram on any of these systems. I have used asus boards in the past but am willing to try another one this time around.

These are the models that one of our parts sources has in stock at the moment. If there is another one out there that you would recommend I would look at it also. If you using one of these does all the on board components work, sound lan ect with suse. I will be putting suse 9.3 on the machine. thanks
