I think it would be a very good idea, we choose one day to find ourselves on Freenode to share experiences and tell how our work is going. Someone else agrees? I believe that this meeting would not last more than a few hours. Software Freedom Day in Italy

Hi to all I was invited as ambassador openSUSE to the Quiliano"Software Freedom Day", (SV, Italy). The event, as per the international calendar, to be held on September 15. In fact, it is an excellent opportunity to present openSUSE 12.2. I realize that the promoDVD of openSUSE 12.2 would not be avaible, and in the form of request for promoDVD have indicated an amount of 0. However, I requested in the request other marketing materials (such as T-shirts, hats, posters, stickers, etc.), which will be very, very useful. I've already started writing the event wiki page. http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:SFD_Quiliano_12 Currently it is only a draft, but get better in the coming days. openSUSE/Novell sponsorship

Hi everyone, I've been contacted by the organizers of the Encuentro Linux 2012 in Chile ( http://2012.encuentrolinux.cl/?lang=en ). This is a national event celebrated this year in the city where I live and work. The organizers wrote me asking about sponsorships from openSUSE or Novell ( http://2012.encuentrolinux.cl/?page_id=63&lang=en ). As an openSUSE ambassador I did not find any information related on the Ambassadors Portal. So I decided to ask here. Most of the people in the organization team are senior students in the university where I teach ( www.utalca.cl ), so regardless of whether I can get some kind of sponsorship they made me an invitation to implement an openSUSE booth at the event. This event receives each year about 600 visitors between students, professionals and bussiness representatives.
