I have the following information recently received: The LinuxTag 2012 will take place from 23.5. to 26.5.2012 at the Berlin Fairgrounds. The call for papers ends at the 31.1.2012 and we need the papers up to that date in the virtual conference system of the LinuxTag: https://vcc.linuxtag.org/ Anyone who is in the area and wants to represent openSUSE as well as possibly assist at a booth, please send in your papers quickly. openSUSE @ OSCON

Just a quick status update: OSCON will open up applications for dotorgs to have booths at OSCON (in Portland, Oregon) in March. This is different from the past where it was a first-come/first-serve arrangement and caused a number of problems. OSCON will notify me as soon as the application process is opened up and we'll reserve our booth for sure this year. In the meantime, if any of you are interested in joining the OSCON booth, keep in mind that OSCON is in July and we'd love to see strong openSUSE presence there. openSUSE is already doing amazingly well in the Pacific Northwest region and keeping our visibility high there is a good thing. Will keep you posted in March and let you all know of the final confirmations.
