Hello
I am trying to compile project called wflogs.
Project ->
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=wflogs&project=home%3Adoiggl
Last log ->
https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=x86_64&package=wflog…
spec file ->
https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file?file=wflogs.spec&package=wflog…
I have a link to another project called wfnetobjs too (no wfnetobjs rpm
installed yet)
Last set of wflog errors:
configure: error: wfnetobjs-incdir: no directory found, use configure
option
error: Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.w8AYXU (%build)
RPM build errors:
Bad exit status from /var/tmp/rpm-tmp.w8AYXU (%build)
System halted.
Can someone assist me to compile this package please.
1. I think Ive got to install wfnetobjs rpm but dont know to set that in
the spec file.
2. Also I got to do the configure bit with a call like (but unsure how to
set in the spec file)
# ./configure --with-wfnetobjs-libdir=/usr/include/wallfire/
help appreciated.
Cheers Glenn

Hi,
I am not very happy with naming of nrpe and its sub-pkg.
we have nagios-nrpe-client, nagios-nrpe-server
While seeing the client pkg I'll be misled to install this pkg on the
remote box and vice versa. But the "client" pkg has to be installed on
the nagios box.
That's why I am thinking of:
- nagios-nrpe
it is the package to be installed on the remote box.
- nagios-nrpe-plugin or nagios-plugins-nrpe
just the name will let you associate to install this pkg on the nagios box.
What do you think ?
Any recommendations are welcome
Kind Regards
Chris

Dear all,
I would like to announce a new project "network:cluster" which has split
off from home:darix/torque and currently just contains torque (job
queuing systems for clusters/HPC). Thus, if you use torque, redirect you
to the new obs address - with the latest version of torque.
If you have suggestions for other packages which should be put there,
tell me; I have some ideas, however.

Hi, I've spent about 4 days trying to get python3 to complete building
in home:plater:blender for 11.0 and 11.1, it just hangs on testing
multiprocessing :-|
||test_multiprocessing
Job seems to be stuck here, killed.
argh, no buildstatus set, assuming bad build host...
I trigger a rebuild on failed packages and if I'm lucky the build
eventually completes after a couple of hours. When I created the package
link I didn't disable the 11.2 build quickly enough and although the
package showed disabled for 11.2 x86_64 and i586 server status showed
building and the build logs showed the above message until I "osc
abortbuild" for 11.2 something that could seriously tie up the build
service if there were a few more packages like python3 about.
I've finally managed to get a full compliment of python3 binaries in the
project so I'm happy but the 11.2 lockup is a potential problem.

Hello,
I am working on this package
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=cricket105test&project=home…
And I am working my way through this document
http://cricket.sourceforge.net/support/doc/beginner.html
I am up to this part in beginner.html

Question: What are the equivalent buildservice names so I can include them
by using BuildRequires module names ?
Thanks Glenn

Hello.
I try to package software and got error in installed desktop file.

I found "Literature" (Literature software) as additional category at

Is there any chance to fix this problem?

Hello,
Please take a look at
https://build.opensuse.org/package/live_build_log?arch=ppc&package=berkeley…
One can see, that the compilation was ready quickly, but then came a
testing phase: 14+ hours!!!! The relevant part of the log:
"
test-j2ee:
BUILD SUCCESSFUL
Total time: 891 minutes 17 seconds
"
Is it really necessary to run such long tests while building a package?
This package blocked the compilation for the rest of the packages in
Factory PPC for more than half a day.
Is there a packaging policy to enable/disable bundled tests? I'll ping
package owner (mvyskocil@) if there is no policy against disabling it.
Bye,
CzP

Hello,
I'm trying to use the '%define _with_something in the prjconf file'
construction that is explained on this page:
http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/prjconf#Macros
But I don't get it to work.
Some details:
cyrus-imapd-kolab> osc meta prjconf server:Kolab:UNSTABLE
%define _with_kolab 1
The spec file contains:
%bcond_with kolab
%if %{with kolab}
%define pkg_perl_Cyrus_IMAP perl-Cyrus-Imap-kolab
%define pkg_perl_Cyrus_SIEVE_managesieve perl-Cyrus-SIEVE-
managesieve-
kolab
Name: cyrus-imapd-kolab
BuildRequires: openldap2-devel
%else
%define pkg_perl_Cyrus_IMAP perl-Cyrus-Imap
%define pkg_perl_Cyrus_SIEVE_managesieve perl-Cyrus-SIEVE-managesieve
Name: cyrus-imapd
%endif
This all looks to me similar to the explanation given in the build service
wiki article. I first thought perhaps it does not work with local builds, so
I committed the spec file, but also the builds on the build server end up in
without kolab :(
build: extracting built packages...
cyrus-imapd-2.3.14-30.1.i586.rpm
cyrus-imapd-devel-2.3.14-30.1.i586.rpm
perl-Cyrus-Imap-2.3.14-30.1.i586.rpm
perl-Cyrus-SIEVE-managesieve-2.3.14-30.1.i586.rpm
Can somebody tell me what I'm doing wrong?? If it would work, it would be a
wonderful way to accomplish what I need!

Sorry if this isn't the best list.
I tried to install dnstop dependancy checks fail "Problem: nothing
provides libpcap.so.0()(64bit) needed by dnstop-20080502-1.1.x86_64",
requires libpcap.so.0 but 11.2 has libpcap.so.1 installed.
Unfortunately it really does want that specific library version,
"dnstop: error while loading shared libraries: libpcap.so.0: cannot
open shared object file: No such file or directory".
No urgency, I was just experimenting
