Hello Mates, through Cristians Tip the Program starts. After klicking to agree the Terms i'm getting an Loginbox. Per default there is the User: admin and Password: admin. But i don't become an Login. In http://pastebin.ca/1662177 i pasted the Output from the Shell. [opensuse-packaging] freemedforms. Error while loading shared libraries

Hello Mates, maybe anyone can review my Package in home:saigkill/freemedforms. The Build runs perfectly. But after typing freemedforms i'm getting: freemedforms: error while loading shared libraries: libtoolkit.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory I tried many things, but i don't find the right screw to fix this. [opensuse-packaging] application don't start after rpmbuild

Hello, I try to build my first rpm package thatswhy i use an easy application. (I thougt so.) It's called tempo [1] and is anvisualization software. I can build it. (using "qmake", "make" and copy the files by hand because there is no install target) Afterwards I create a spec file. Rpmbuild is fine but the application doesn't start. I get the following error: Error type #9 (This error didn't appear on the manually build.) Something is interesting for me: /usr/src/BUILD/tempo/tempo starts but /usr/src/BUILDROOT/usr/share/tempo/tempo doesn't start You can find the files on obs home:segi [2]. What am I doing wrong? [opensuse-packaging] Convert existing changelog from .spec file to .changes file

Sometimes I find a package with a long changelog that has always lived directly in the .spec file. I would like to continue the changelog in a .changes file... but how should I convert all the existing entries? [opensuse-packaging] openSUSE 10.3: Novell End Of Maintenance

Hi, the regular maintenance period for openSUSE 10.3 ended October 2009. The Novell/SUSE security/maintenance team is currently reviewing the open issues, and we will not start any new ones. openSUSE:10.3 related projects in the OBS have already been removed due to "out of disk space" issues and the project itself has been moved to the DISCONTINUED: namespace. For any new bugreports against 10.3, please verify and fix them only for openSUSE 11.0 and above. While it is technically possible for anybody else to do further 10.3 updates, the regular maintenance team will no longer work on it in order to have time to focus on the newer openSUSE releases. [opensuse-packaging] Spacewalk client packages for openSuse, Mandriva and SLE

I have been working for some time, to make Spacewalk [1] packages for openSUSE, and yesterday I finally manage to build 4 basic packages: rhnlib yum-rhn-plugin rhn-client-tools rhnsd As side effect I build it for SLE and Mandriva. The repositories are: openSUSE 11.0 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://xsuchy/openSUSE_11.0 Mandriva 2009.1 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://xsuchy/Mandriva_2009.1 SLE 10 http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home://xsuchy/SLE_10 Should I say it is highly experimental and far from production ready? No, you know it. I even did not test it yet! I even have no plans to test Mandriva and SLE version, just openSUSE if I find some time. Packages are not in recent version, some are even git snapshots. It is really very early release. If you are willing to test it, I will welcome your feedback. Currently should be possible to register those systems to Spacewalk and install packages from Spacewalk. If I find some spare time, I will try to build other client packages. [opensuse-packaging] Request a new category for desktop files

Hi packagers, In openSUSE 11.1 the YaST team already moved 4 modules to a new group in its control center. This works fine so far with the QT control center. But it fails with the gnome pendant as their control center interprets the "Category=" flags in the desktop file instead of "X-SuSE-YaST-Group=". Therefore we added a new category flag to our desktop files: "X-SuSE-YaST-Support" But as this is not yet part of the suse_update_desktop_file macro it gets lost after each build.
