[opensuse-doc] LfL question: how-to subdivide very big articles ?

Hi all ! I have LfL question: how-to subdivide very big articles ? That is: I have "VirtualBox" article - a big guide actually. I want to have it's chapters to be available as links at the top of the article. Thomas once told me about using chapter IDs, but I didn't understood then. I will try now... [opensuse-doc] [LfL] My Texts

I am leaving the company and will be unable to continue maintaining my texts. Please consider these texts donated to the project. Those of you who are active with LfL may maintain, modify, or remove any work of mine as you see fit. My only request is that you remove my name as soon as you make changes. I really hope that the LfL project will be successful. It is unfortunate that my personal situation for the near future prevents me from continuing to contribute to the project in my free time. [opensuse-doc] [STYLE] No Longer Maintainer

Because I am soon leaving the company (on friendly terms), I am no longer maintainer of the style project. I do not know any details of the future of this project at the present time. I hope management will provide details once it has had the opportunity to consider the options and make plans. Maintaining the style guide is a big responsibility, so finding a replacement may take some time and they may need to consider other alternatives. Please be patient with management if some time passes before they are able to provide any information. I have enjoyed working with all of you. I appreciate your input in this project and your support. Therefore LfL will be made available to all openSUSE users by default. [opensuse-doc] Lessons for Lizards and openSUSE 10.3 beta cycle

hi all ! As the beta area nears, with Beta 1 I won't add any new material to the LfL anymore, until SUSE 11.x cycle starts. Current status: LfL has many incomplete articles, and I would like to discuss about the possibility of "disabling" them - that is the source code will remain as-is, but those articles should become invisible from the main "index" page. Sorry for cut in here... but I would like to clarify that in most languages the translation for the term 'repository' within the context of software has approved translation since a long time... this term is not new to the industry nor exclusive to opensuse... so we should maintain what the industry is using in each language. A repository in the computing environment is understood as a storage house for data.... and some languages will have a direct translation, like for e.g. Spanish where the translation is 'repositorio' and other languages may have a different.. but I am sure all languages will have one as this term is an old concept already. That said, I do understand JDD's comment, that sometimes this term used in other context mean exactly what he is referring to... but in this case, translators needs to confirm what is the most widely approved translation for it in their locales. Hi, I have decided to learn more about openSUSE including compiling from source, which files to edit to change certain settings and configurations etc. Would the Lfl be the right place to start? I have downloaded the lessons4lizards-fop.pdf file and wonder if this is the right file and if there is a mailing list that could inform me of updates or a new file that has been uploaded?
