Building a "statically compiled tcpdump" for ksniff

Hi all, I wanted to package ksniff aka kubectl-sniff (https://github.com/eldadru/ksniff) for openSUSE. It allows sniffing the network traffic inside a Kubernetes pod and forwards it to a local wireshark instance. Very helpful sometimes. Anyways, to work properly it needs a "static tcpdump binary" that it can inject into the pod. I wanted to build it inside the knsiff package. But as soon as I add the "CFLAGS=-static" from the ksniff makefile, the configure breaks as the compiler cannot create executables. > https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:ojkastl_buildservice:Branch_de… Here is the interesting Makefile part: > https://github.com/eldadru/ksniff/blob/master/Makefile#L42 "CFLAGS=-static ./configure --without-crypto && make" I added all of the %configure macro options manually and tried to add BuildRequires, but I am stuck. Need help fixing go build for kubeconform

Hi, I maintain kubeconform on OBS [1] and the build started failing last week. I assume this happened due to changes in golang 1.21 . > /usr/lib64/go/1.21/src/cmd/vendor/github.com/google/pprof/internal/driv er/webhtml.go:26:12: pattern html: no matching files found I filed an issue upstream [2] a week ago but had no response. If anyone has an idea how to fix it please let me know, I don't have any leads right now. strawberry symbol lookup error

Hi, strawberry (https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/strawberry) does not start for several days after recent a protobuf update: /usr/bin/strawberry: symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/strawberry: undefined symbol: _ZN6google8protobuf8internal17AssignDescriptorsEPFPKNS1_15DescriptorTableEvEPN4absl12lts_202301259once_flagERKNS0_8MetadataE https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1215227 Shouldn't a rebuild have been triggered here? freeimage maintainership up from grab

Hi packagers and contributors. I was made aware of an issue around the package freeimage https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/freeimage which has the devel project set to https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/graphics/freeimage Unfortunately, we have no set package maintainer/bugowner on this package and even looking into the changes file it seems close to impossible to identify anybody really caring for this. Is there anybody that feels responsible for this package?
