Building against Tensorflow with Bazel

Hello, I'm trying to package libedgetpu [1], which uses Bazel [2] for building against "org_tensorflow". My clumsy experiments are at [3] currently. Has such a scenario been encountered with Tensorflow yet? I'm not clear on what I should use as --override_repository="org_tensorflow=???" here: bazel-workspaces [4] does not seem to include Tensorflow yet, and it seems to me, libedgetpu is loading Tensorflow's tensorflow/workspace.bzl - not just link against its libraries, for which the bazel-workspaces files appear to have been hand-crafted. Should tensorflow2 [5] grow some -source sub-package with these files, like apparently some bazel-* packages do? Or would this require to duplicate the 50 MB Tensorflow tarball and all the other tarballs in tensorflow2 into each package that depends on Tensorflow due to tensorflow/workspace.bzl referencing them? Hello all, sorry if I'm too impatient or if this is the wrong list. For the package openafs I have created two maintenance-requests for the version 1.8.7 The second (important) one is also accepted : https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/870193 However, on https://software.opensuse.org/package/openafs I see for TW the version 1.8.7 but for LEAP 15.2 the version 1.8.5 The version 1.8.5 is just broken. What needs to be done (by me) to get the latest version into the update-repo ? Anyone willing to help me building kiwi images?

Hi, I'm trying to get my hands dirty with building VM and ISO images on OBS... and i'm kinda lost, my first attempt is in home:lemmy04:astrotoolbox/baseimage, it's supposed to be a generic image that provides the user with a login to a GUI, with Plasma and XFCE being available. The final result will be based on that, and have pretty much all astronomical software installed - stellarium, skymap, xephem, kstars and so on, and should work as VM image or from DVD/USB... ...but right now it won't build at all, and the error message does not mean anything to me - it talks about something like "duplicate configuration" or something? but I'm working with a very generic kiwi template that should "just work"... Any ideas? om-feeling-like or KDE preset

I have recently tried the live OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 on KVM. I found they have a very nice application called "om-feeling-like" that is an ui that give someone possibility to use preset kde theme and dock. You can choose different preset desktop that could look like OpenMandriva, Unity, Windows 10 or 7, Mac OSx. It a very fast way to setup a desktop to one liking. Is there any plan to offer something similar to OpenSUSE ? How to tell OBS to wait longer for test before killing it?

Hello, I try to build CheMPS2. https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:andythe_great/CheMPS2 But the test took too long that OBS kill it first. Which it just have to wait a bit longer. Job seems to be stuck here, killed. (after 5400 seconds of inactivity) How to make OBS wait longer? Kind regards, Andy

Hey all, *Please forward to anyone potentially interested* In the wake of the post survey discussions, a bunch of volunteers have risen to the challenges of improving diversity, knowledge transfer and cross-community bonds: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Newscom We feel like a bi-weekly newsletter might work for that, to be served on our web platforms and shipped in the form of a mobile screen friendly newsletter, available in the most spoken languages in the community (for starters: Spanish, Indonesian, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian) and broadcast across all information channels available. Unlike its glorious ancestor (https://en.opensuse.org/Archive:Weekly_news_99) the newsletter will have both a cultural and a technical facet. You'll learn more about the former in our upcoming call for participants, but I'd like to ask you something about the latter: would some of you -- I have in mind contributors to 101.opensuse.org, package maintainers and Heroes -- be interested in, respectively: - being advertised in our first issue (to fix ideas: we could write an article about 101.opensuse.org and encourage people from these communities to participate as either maintainers, mentors or mentees) - having their package spotlit, simply to make it more visible or attract new maintainers - highlight key areas in our infrastructure, platforms and activities that could benefit from more volunteers.
