Hi!
I'm wondering why CONFIG_CC_STACKPROTECTOR is disabled on openSUSE.
Debian and Fedora seem to enabled it per default.
What's the deal?

Hi,
please find a patch to add missing modules aliases to fix audio on omap devices.
It applies to 3.5-rc4 (master) and 3.4.4 (12.2 branch).
I submitted this patch to linux-omap ML:

Hi,
This patch fixes the i2c coredesign build failures for PowerPC 32bit -default flavour.
It is not yet in mainline.
It needs a run of this magic "new config option thingie" script
to add the new config option.
Ciao, Marcus
Hi,
useful for master and for openSUSE-12.2. Please apply.
TIA,
Dirk

Hi:
I a remote machine, after "upgrading" it from Centos 5 to openSUSE 12.1
with kernel 3.4.1 from kernel:Stable, my logs are beign flooded with
[Firmware Bug]: APEI: Invalid bit width + offset in GAR
[0xbf7c4ba0/32/0/1/0]
(Needless to say, I already updated the system's BIOS)
thousands of times.. I couldnt care less about this APEI thing but I
cannot find the right kernel parameter/ BIOS option to get it to stop
flooding the system log.
Any hints ?

Hi:
openSSH nows offers a linux-native sandbox that requires
PR_SET_NO_NEW_PRIVS prctl(2) , however I cannot find where is it defined
in my shiny new openSUSE 12.2 ...
Is this supposed to be defined by the kernel headers or by
yet-another-is-userspace-problem library ?
