Do we support creating ocfs2 filesystems from autoyast on SLES 10 (GMC ? Later ? not at all?)? I can see no mention of ocfs2 on either the docs, or Uwe's site... ok, autoyast seems to work now. My next question: Im using nfs-mountpoints managed by the fstab and the pam_mount conf-files. My question: What is the right way to get the nedded informations into the files? Adding the mount-points etc. with an post-install-script? Thanks for hints? -- i.A. I managed to make everything work under SLES, but now I need to transfer the process to OpenSuSE, and I stepped into a problem: The install fails after having copied all files, on the "Moving to installed system" part. Hi, i am trying to setup an autoyast-installation which installs an win-xp image to the first partition and setup a datadrive d. Everything is working fine, but id like to show that the win installation is in progress. I cannot figure out how, since the echos are not sent to the screen, any hints anyone? All, I have the following in my control file <sound> <autoinstall config:type="boolean">true</autoinstall> <configure_detected config:type="boolean">true</configure_detected> </sound> However, after the install, the soundcard is not detected. Is the soundcard autodetection depend on what packages are installed? I have the following within the software tag: <addons config:type="list"> <addon>SuSE-Documentation</addon> <addon>Gnome</addon> <addon>Kernel-Devel</addon> <addon>Basis-Devel</addon> <addon>Java</addon> </addons> Anyone else had with autodetecting soundcards before? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Dear all, Now I have a RAID card.I would like to install SuSE on this card. I have already got a driver disk for the RAID card. I have read http://forgeftp.novell.com//yast/doc/SLES10/autoinstall/index.html, but I did not get the answer. How can I use autoyast to load the card driver from network? Thank you! [opensuse-autoinstall] Post, network required script

Hello all, I have a perl script that is being run as "post" with network required. This script is meant to download ssh host keys via nfs and replace the ones in /etc/ssh. Can someone confirm that this script will be run *after* sshd has generated it own keys and it won't be overwriting the ones I just copied? If not how could I solve this? I have > the following within the software tag: After the machine is built, is the sound card detected if you do yast2 sound add I tend to add the sound card in a post install script as I find this works better, but I must admit, I've not tried configuring it during the autoyast process with the latest code. -- Simon Crute IS&T.
