So,
Is there any documentation available of what we need to do with the new
setup once it arrives? With Alice we had to know CVS, is that still the
same, anything else we might as well start reading up on at once?

Hi there!
I'm currently using the auto-install features of yast1 combined with alice
to install clients all around here.
A recent post at the ALICE mailing list said, that SuSE 8.0 will no longer
ship with yast1 nor ALICE. As I really need an automatic installation I'd
like to get some documentation about the features present in the new Yast2
(which is said to support auto-installation, too). If possible *before*
SuSE 8.0 ships ...
Is there some place to get a pre-release of SuSE 8.0 for test reasons?
I hope Yast2 will still be able to run directly from network without the
use of floppies or CDs - cause that's what I liked about the old solution.
Please let me know about any available information about Yast2 and
automatic installation
Thanx,
Marcel

Dear all,
this is another request for SuSE 8.0 pre-release information. I am
especially interested in information on how to migrate an existing ALICE
configuration from ALICE to YaST2 (changes in file formats, configuration
options, etc.).
