What kind of additions?
All those elements works as they should on normal pages (https://en.opensuse.org/User:Meksykaniec for reference).

No way to designate list items, headings,
indents or anything else to cause
addtions to appear like they should.
Whatever is causing the formatting is
and remains invisible.

Felix,
Looking at your screenshot it seems to me that your code was missing at least one space before "04:00.VGA...". As far as I know it's standard feature of wikimedia software to create preformated code when there are spaces before text.
Of course you also could use <pre> tags but it looks just ugly (IMO).

The new skin
must be broken. Wikipedia still works. openSUSE quit. As
long as
it remains as it is now, I won't
be trying to do any more editing on it.

It mentions only 42.3. Thus:
1-it needs update to 15.0 (64bit only)
2-it needs to address Tumbleweed (32bit and 64bit)
I can't do #2 because I can't find official hardware requirements anywhere. The
32bit release package names imply Intel 586 CPU support. Most packages are
labeled i586. However, http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1032165
seems to say sse2 is required, thus making all i586 CPUs and many i686 unsupported.
FWIW, Debian release next (10/Buster) still runs on CPUs lacking sse2, while
Fedora release next (29) does not.
