I created the new slides and they are now in GIT. They are very plain giv= en that most of the customization comes from your content rather than the= mast slides. On the last sample slide I added a set of boxes with colors= you can use to build content with that should keep a really good and con= sisten look. [opensuse-artwork] Plymouth branding for openSUSE 13.2

Dear Artwork Team, As you're without a doubt aware, the fantastic release 13.2 is approaching fast. The counter, which you so nicely maintain, says '10 days to go'. Up to this day, though, we DO NOT HAVE a working plymouth branding package in Factory and/or 13.2. The theme currently in git is rather broken: - openSUSE.script references background images, that do not exist, also the logo is not to be found in git and/or the existing plymouth package The result is a lot of text passing in front of the user... probably not what we want, but without immediate action, this is what it will be I'm afraid. The 'blank-background*.png' can be easily referenced in the script though, but I am not sure if those are meant (or even suitable) as plymouth backgrounds. Can the artwork team get a branding package together that we can have on the disks prior to the release (an online-update does not cut it, as the Live Media are lacking the boot splash as well... and there is no way to fix this post release). Thanks for taking care to make this a polished openSUSE release, the way users learned to rely on the community to provide the top of the top. Hi all, In order to help get 13.2 out the door I would like to ask everyone to help make a list of graphics-related items which are still outstanding for 13.2. If I am such a n00b that I've missed this list somewhere else, please excuse me (in advance). I'll start with my items and ask for everyone to simply reply to this email with theirs and any information necessary around the item. 1) Fix bugs in the installer: - There are several open bugs concerning the installer theme that I started working on. Our team will work on these bugs so that they are fixed in time for the release. 2) Update the countdown banners to match the graphics of the desktop - In the past the banners always used the current desktop background. https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Countdown shows the current stuff but our team would like to take a whack at making something that fits to the desktop design of 13.2 itself.
