Hi all ! I have made a new version of this poster, with a bit less text. I have made new icons, more visual... Hello friends I hope some of you were able to get the news coming from the ambassador program recently posted by Ilmehtar. Let me quote you a section of that email that pertains to what our team does. "- Also, changes are being made regarding the Merchandising for Events. Instead of boxes of PromoDVD's, specialised boxes full of high quality items, everything openSUSE Advocates need to fully equip a booth, are being put together. These will be shipped (by the openSUSE Team at SUSE) in advance of events. It's expected that our new Local Coordinators will be a big part of putting together a list of events so we will know which events need what materials." There is a need to create materials that can be featured in the new booth boxes that the new advocate program will use during Open Source events. So far, one thing we need to come up with is a table cloth that can have some sort of logo, image or idea to make visitors come to the openSUSE booth. Also, think of posters and giveaways that we can create. This should be a fun thing to work on. Post your ideas to this mailing list and the marketing team will chose what to feature. [opensuse-artwork] Conference Cleanup

Hello friends Since the conference is now over, I would like to ask for some help in doing cleanup on our git repository. Since the conference the size of our repo has grown quite a bit, however, I am sure that there are many files used for the conference that are no longer needed. I think it would be good to just keep sources and key artwork. But there are also many trial artwork pieces that are not needed and are taking room. I will be taking a look in the coming days into GIT, but I would not like to delete something that I am not sure what purpose it serves. Hello, if you will choose to continue to use KDM, I did a theme proof that should support various elements and use cases. Tested a bit with Xephyr (not completely reliable) and on a real screen at 1920x1080. What do you think? Caig

For list of topics look at the wiki http://en.opensuse.org/Category:Portals . Does this interfere with 13.1 release process? No. It is mainly for the people that have no time to learn about release process and how to contribute to that. It is not meant to be support for release process as in creating graphics for distribution. At best, it will help illustration of articles talking about releases. How it should work? Hi openSUSE Artists! BoF sessions are where work gets done and like in the years before we also offer a room for instant Birds of a Feather sessions as oSC13 in Thessaloniki. Since BoF sessions are supposed to happen ad-hoc you can instantly get together and find a free timeslot in the room "Artemis" which is able to hold about 10-15 people and is equipped with a video projector and a white board. You have the chance to schedule you BoF session in advance by going to https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Conference_BoF and adding it at the right place. Don't forget to publish the outcome of your session either by posting on your mailing list or in your blog! During the last process of having a wallpaper there was a lot of decision-making that did not go well and stalled the process. Not only that, it also caused disagreement within the team. It was a common consensus then that for 13.1 we would ask the packagers to choose the wallpaper for the final release. Ilmehtar volunteered to do this and we are now waiting on him to choose the wallpapers we will use on 13.1.
