Hello listmates,
I think YaST would look better/integrated on KDE if it uses Oxygen
icons. I proposed reverting the changes made for 13.2 (providing the
yast2-theme-openSUSE-Oxygen package).
More details at
https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=899819
Any thoughts on this?
Greetings,

Dear all!
The conference needs sponsors and we need to approach them soon!
Based on the sponsorship brochure from earlier editions, we've made a couple of adjustments, and would like to request the artwork team (or anyone with any DTP talent) to help us out in designing a visually appealing version which we can distribute asap!
The text for the brochure is attached to this issue in progress.opensuse.orghttps://progress.opensuse.org/issues/4974#note-3
Please include the logo made by Victorhck:

If you have any questions, please ask us!
All the best!

Hi All,
I thought it was about time we looked at the website again, ever since
the 13.2 banner has been on the landing page it has bugged me due to how
much the colors clash with the green and orange rectangle. I don't have
the time to redesign the entire website + wiki + forums and everything
else, but I figured i probably do have time to go through the
stylesheets and recolor the website to match the new branding guidelines
http://opensuse.github.io/branding-guidelines/ so that is what i have
done. If someone is in the process of redesiging everything nice work
and go for that instead.
There is 1 content / design change i would like to make to the front
page and that is to add the top navigation bar present in the wiki and
forums, i have always found it hard to navigate the rest of the site
from the front page, so i guess others do as well and i think that that
will help.
I have done some mockups using the firefox inspection tools that allow
messing with and replacing stylesheets. I use a wiki as my notepad, and
the list of changes i have made can be found there,
http://notes.simotek.net/doku.php?id=projects:opensusee:website, I have
also created css files that can be pasted in over the exisiting ones so
that you can try out the changes, although they will disappear as soon
as you navigate to another page.

That is just a rough start, if people are happy with them i can do the
other sites (a list of all of them would be great), fix the icons that
no longer fit, do the mouseover link color(i was lazy) and find all the
other corner cases. I was wondering if there are any test servers
running mirroring the sites that i could get access to that would make
life much easier as would knowing where all the source code lives.
Look forward to the comments, feedback and questions.
Cheers
Simon Lees.

Hi,
This has taken longer then i would have liked as my wife has been
working some overtime the last 2 weeks, my full changes for the
landing-page should people want to push them are now in
https://github.com/simotek/landing-page the screenshot image isn't 100%
perfect because i couldn't find a layered copy of the original, but i
doubt people would notice.
Hopefully all permitting i'll get a first shot of the wiki and the
forums stylesheets in the next couple of days.
Cheers

Looks pretty good, just a minor thing, could you add a link to the
forums at the top right or use the same top bar as the wiki and forums?
I used openSUSE for 2 years before discovering the forums, and that was
only because someone pointed me to a enlightenment issue that was
reported there. So i strongly believe we need to make sure they are visible.
I also understand you may not have got to that point yet.
Cheers

My changes still need some touch ups, the login button needs fixing, as
do the forum images and i need to do the mouse over hyperlink color. I
also haven't tested the pages that live outside the frontpage, wiki and
forums. None of that will be huge amounts of effort to finish up if we
go down that path. We should probably do something with the wiki /
forums to match the other landing page anyway.
Cheers
