Hi all ! I have made a new version of this poster, with a bit less text. I have made new icons, more visual... You can check in artwork repo in GitHub in this path: - Marketing Materials/Posters/we_belive_less_text.pdf and also the svg file Feel free to comment if you like or not... ;) Bye PS: I think that I have made a mistake, I have modified the original file "we belive.svg" sorry. can anyone fix it??? sorry... Hello friends I hope some of you were able to get the news coming from the ambassador program recently posted by Ilmehtar. Let me quote you a section of that email that pertains to what our team does. "- Also, changes are being made regarding the Merchandising for Events. Instead of boxes of PromoDVD's, specialised boxes full of high quality items, everything openSUSE Advocates need to fully equip a booth, are being put together. These will be shipped (by the openSUSE Team at SUSE) in advance of events. It's expected that our new Local Coordinators will be a big part of putting together a list of events so we will know which events need what materials." There is a need to create materials that can be featured in the new booth boxes that the new advocate program will use during Open Source events. So far, one thing we need to come up with is a table cloth that can have some sort of logo, image or idea to make visitors come to the openSUSE booth. Also, think of posters and giveaways that we can create. This should be a fun thing to work on. Post your ideas to this mailing list and the marketing team will chose what to feature. [opensuse-artwork] a KDM theme proof

Hello, if you will choose to continue to use KDM, I did a theme proof that should support various elements and use cases. Tested a bit with Xephyr (not completely reliable) and on a real screen at 1920x1080. What do you think? Caig

During the last process of having a wallpaper there was a lot of decision-making that did not go well and stalled the process. Not only that, it also caused disagreement within the team. It was a common consensus then that for 13.1 we would ask the packagers to choose the wallpaper for the final release. Ilmehtar volunteered to do this and we are now waiting on him to choose the wallpapers we will use on 13.1. [opensuse-artwork] oSC13 needs some of our help to finish Banner

Hello artists, As some geekos and artists already know. We are working and contributing to the oSC13 creating banners, t-shirts, posters, flyers, bagdes.... long list So once more I would like to ask and invite you to help and be involved, in case you have time and like to participate. If you go to the trello, you will see that we have lots of things done and much more to be finished. The main reasons why I'm writing this here is because I little tired and without much creativity for banners, maybe because i did a lot samples and I do not love any banner yet will be good if oSC13 banner have the following but not strict rules, it's just suggestions that I following: - must be 2 different Banners - banners must have to have the same kind of design and identity with the conference - banners have to be connected by each other somehow - banners will have 2x4 m (vertical) - banners could be in full color - banners could be anything crazy but not too much, clean but with some messages My point about this banner is personal but not unchangeable rsrs. I believe this conference is by greeks, for greeks and to greeks (of course we have attendee around the world, but they are attendee) and what i want to mean with this? I believe the banners should be somehow connected with greeks style, ppl around the museum (greeks) must see the banners and fell that are part of banner the conference and probably they will fell involved and step inside the event. Hello friends Now that the submission process has been completed it is our part to gather the submissions and submit them to git. Those of you who also submitted wallpapers to http://www.flickr.com/groups/opensuse-artwork/pool/with/7733338260/ please let our team know so that we can start making your wallpapers into the appropriate resolutions. If you do not know, or do not have the time to do the resizing, please let us know. I can do that for you. Please also provide originals for your images. I went through the flickr page and removed the ones that were vertical resolutions since they do not match openSUSE's resizing guidelines for a wallpaper.
