Good evening all. I have attached a slightly darker Version of the Xfce-openSUSE Theme as some of you complained about the very bright (Vista inspired) colors ;) If you agree I am going to start reworking some buttons and scrollers. Best Regards Marcus

Hi all. You can take a look at Red Devil's (I personally never heard of him before) review of Xfce on openSUSE 11.0: http://reddevil62-techhead.blogspot.com/2008/06/quick-appraisal-xfce-in-ope… He was very confused of all the YaST elements in the settings menu. This was something I have also criticized a few month before and I hoped that somebody will take care of it before the release. Hi! I just received a question about using SLIM in openSUSE. Any ideas? -------- Original Message -------- Hello ! I was looking today for a remplacement for gdm/kdm and saw you provide the SLiM RPM through OBS. I suppose you have it installed on your openSUSE box also ? I have some questions about it, maybe you could do a small wiki on how to install/configure it for openSUSE 11.0 ? :p According to the documentation, i coud either launch it via inittab, or add a service script for init.d. But in either cases, should I disable xdm service *AND earlyxdm* ? And what about the displaymanager configured in /etc/sysconfig/displaymanager ? Should changes be done there ? Hi all. Do you think it's possible to use the Murrina Engine for GTK themes? With this engines, we got a lot more options for themes. I would suggest Gonxical: http://www.xfce-look.org/content/show.php/Murrina+Gonxical?content=74339 which looks a bit like the GNOME Gilouche theme but integrates better in Xfce.
