Hello. The Pragha player is in Factory. I think, we should make it a default audio player in Xfce pattern. Okay, it looks like it may be part of this long forgotten bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=780130 which is itself a duplicate of another seemingly more relevant bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=775792 Alas, not sure what can be done if it's already known about. I believe I read somewhere recently that the non-working language selection in LightDM has finally been fixed, in which case I might have another look at using that, though apparently that's not necessarily immune to this bug either. [opensuse-xfce] no login manager (LXDM) when switching users

I have a box running 12.2 with XFCE, and I use LXDM for logging in since it's a multi-user machine and this allows per-user system language selection. *Fairly* sure everything was working fine after a fresh 12.2 installation, but at some point, maybe some online update, logging out a user doesn't go back to the Login Manager and instead produces a blank screen with just a flashing cursor. From here I end up having to do a Magic Keys reboot as I don't know how else to put things right. Perhaps there's a missing configuration somewhere and the system doesn't know it should be looking for LXDM? [opensuse-xfce] starting terminal does not run shell startup file

Hi, Just moved to 12.3 and noticed that when I start a terminal my .cshrc file is not being sourced :( I use gnome-terminal, but the same problem occurs when using xfce4-terminal. Any ideas on how to fix this? [opensuse-xfce] Help resolving login problem

Hi, I am setting up a new laptop using 12.3 RC2 and I copied my home directory and a bunch of stuff from my old laptop. Somewhere along the line I messed up some permission settings and I cannot login :( I use lightdm and am trying to start an XFCE session as the user (non root). When I try to login the login screen disappears for a bit and then returns. I can login as root and XFCE runs fine. The .xession-errors file in the users home directory reads as follows: Failed to issue method call: Access denied Failed to inhibit: Unknown error -1 Unfortunately this doesn't give me a lot of clues as to where I messed up the permissions. Any help is appreciated.
